Hotel Argo — Hotel in Kassandra Municipality

Very nice hotel, very clean and tidy. In the apartment we had everything we needed for 11 days stay there. Breakfast simple, but enough for the family with kids. Bread, pastries, cheeses, ham, salami, cereals, fruit, olives, fresh tomatoes, honey, hams, juices, tea, coffee and boiled eggs. What I missed - fried eggs, sausages or something cooked and hot. But in general good. Always clean swimming pool, bar near the pool with considerable prices, everything for tourists and hotel guests. The only minus for me was housekeeping who came to clean the room at 14.00. That's the time when we with our kid came back from the beach, wanted to take shower, eat and rest. When me as a mother told the housekeeping that the lunch time is not convenient for us, I was sure it will be considered by the housekeeping ladies, but they told me that they have 32 rooms to clean...the next day they came again at 14.00...so sometimes we started to refuse from the cleaning at lunch time and twice I was washing the floor in our room myself due to this..in my opinion, that s the attitude of the particular housekeeping, therefore I still put 5 star service at the hotel. First week of our stay it was not possible to use internet in the room, last 5 days it was good. According to the reception lady, who is absolutely lovely, helpful, friendly and really loves her job, the internet issue was on the whole Kassandra place due to thousands of tourists. However, in the bar, by the pool and reception area the internet was always good all the days. The main brilliant is the reception lady who works every day from morning till night in the reception and the bar and makes guests feel comfortable and happy in the hotel. The beach is very close, 5 minutes walking with kids, lots of ice cream and pastries shops on the way and even a river with turtles living in it, additional fun for the whole family. Sandy beach, clean warm water in the sea, beach seafood restaurants, friendly Greek people. Im Großen und Ganzen ist das Hotel Argo sehr gut, wenn man keine hohen Ansprüche hat. Es ist sauber, zweckmaßig und perfekt, um die Chalkidiki zu erkunden.|Das Hotel Argo liegt fussläufig nur wenige Minuten vom Strand und Ortszentrum entfernt. Supermarkt direkt in der Nähe und in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Die Lage in Siviri ist top! Ich bewohnte 14 Tage lang ein Kleines Studio, welches eigentlich für 2 Personen genutzt werden kann. Ich persönlich finde das zu beengt. Für 1 Person ist es okay. Es war sehr sauber, allerdings ist das Mobiliar schon ziemlich alt und hier wäre dringend eine Erneuerung notwendig. Im Badezimmer gibt es einen alten, sehr unhygienischen Duschvorhang, der beim Duschen am Korper klebt. Die Toilettenspülung plätschert so extrem langsam, dass man mehrfach abziehen muss (obwohl man kein Toilettenpapier in die Toilette werfen darf).|Das Bett ist extrem hart. Es gibt einige wenige Topper im Hotel und in der 2. Woche konnte ich endlich einen bekommen und nun auch ohne Schmerzen schlafen. Das Hotel ist sehr hellhörig. Bis Mitternacht ist es sehr laut, da die Bar dann geöffnet ist. Ohropax sind empfehlenswert, wenn man früher schlafen möchte. Gut fand ich, dass es eine dickere Bettdecke (Steppbett) gab, da die Nächte doch sehr kühl waren. TV super! Sehr viele Fernsehprogramme und auch Filme in verschiedenen Sprachen stehen zur Verfügung.|Das Personal immer herzlich und freundlich, sehr zuvorkommend! Tsampika ist die Seele des Hauses und kümmert sich unermüdlich von morgens bis abends um das Wohl jedes einzelnen Gastes - wunderbar. Auch als Alleinreisende habe ich mich nie alleine gefühlt. Es gibt im Hotel nur Frühstück. Ich empfand es als ziemlich eintönig. 14 Tage jeden Morgen das Gleiche, ohne jegliche Abwechslung. Rührei oder Omelette hätte ich mir zwischendurch mal gewünscht oder ein frisches Brötchen mit Nutella. Das gab es leider nicht.|Es gab 3 verschiedene Brotsorten, Kuchen, Croissants und Bougatsa.|Schinken, 2 verschiedene Sorten Wurst, Gouda, Feta, Marmelade, Quark, Honig, Butter, Oliven, Tomaten, Pfirsiche, Melone, 3 Sorten Cerealien, hart gekochte Eier. Kaffee (Automat mit Cappuccino etc.), Tee, Wasser und 2 verschiedene süße Fruchtkonzentrate.|An der Bar konnte man den ganzen Tag über und auch am Abend Getränke kaufen und dort konsumieren. Preise nicht gerade günstig, Preise wie im Restaurant: Bier z.b. 3,50€.|Aber man kann sich ja auch im Supermarkt seine eigene Getränke kaufen, es gibt in den Studios/Appartements auch einen Kühlschrank.|Es gibt kein Entertainment oder Ähnliches. Ein kleiner hübscher und sehr sauberer Swimmingpool mit wenigen Liegen ist vorhanden.|Reist man am Abend ab, bekommt man ein Duschzimmer im UG zur Verfügung gestellt. Eigentlich ganz gut, aber der Raum ist dunkel, muffig und ungemütlich. Das Licht geht an und aus, weil es durch Bewegungsmelder gesteuert wird, das nervt! Es gibt 2 Duschen und eine Toilette. Ein altes kaputtes Bett, welches ich nicht benutzen konnte. Zu tief, zu weich und mittig gebrochen. Es gibt sonst keine Sitzgelegenheit, außer draußen auf der Terrasse. Das fand ich wirklich...

We had booked this hotel directly via telephone, receptionist very helpful. We traveled as a family of four and were given an apartment that (they said) could fit 4 persons. It was not the case. The rooms are small, and so is the bathroom. The apartment was on the ground floor on the road side, and because there is a small river between the hotel and the main road, all the traffic noise reflects from the water an so sleep quality is not good. Also, because of the vecinity of the water, mosquitos are everywhere. ||The room was clean to begin with, but they don`t bother much after you check in.||The beach is a good 300 m walk from the hotel, but it is nice, sandy, clean, and well animated. ||The breakfast included in the price was average: the same every day, not very fresh, poor selection of fruits and vegetables. ||||Overall, for the price paid, it was average, but if I had to choose again we would definitely not...
