Alkioni by the sea Restaurant - Pizzeria — Restaurant in Kassandra Municipality

I recently dined at Alkioni expecting an authentic Italian experience, but unfortunately, it was anything but that. The service was extremely disappointing from the start. When I asked the waitress about the menu, she had no idea what was available. I ordered pasta with zucchini, but what arrived was pasta with pesto. When I pointed this out to the waitress, she seemed clueless and had to ask the chef.

I then spoke with the chef, who explained that he added zucchini cream to the pesto instead of actual zucchini pieces, claiming that some customers prefer it that way. However, this wasn’t what I ordered, and the substitution was never communicated to me or on the menu. To add insult to injury, the zucchini pasta was priced at 15 euros, while the pesto pasta was 9 euros. Despite the mix-up, nothing was done to rectify the mistake. They did offer to bring me a new portion, but they made no effort to adjust the bill or apologize for the error.

Overall, this was a frustrating experience. The restaurant may look Italian, but the service and food quality were far from it. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine or...

THE SLOWEST SERVICE I EVER EXPERIENCE!!!!!! the beach beds was full, when I walk up to the restaurant to the restaurant to order a drink (after I was waiting for 20min for someone to take my order) the waiter of the restaurant told me I need to wait for the waiter of the beach!!! At the same time he had 0 tables on the restaurant and was just playing with his mobile. After I ordered (a coke and a draft beer) I was waiting another 20min to be served. When in the end I want it to pay u need to go to the restaurant just to found both of the waiters sitting playing with their mobiles, I looked at one of them and he asked me "are you looking for me" I should responded "do you want me to pay or should I just walk away?" Absolutely disgraceful customer service, they shouldn't allowed to run a business in such a hot spot or they should employ people that they actually work instead of...

Overall, a really good place, but let’s take a closer look:

The scenery is amazing with all those trees 🌲 making a shade and creating a cool environment for us to eat even when the sun is up and hot 🥵.

The view, depending on the hour of the day, is magical and I’m sure sunset is the best spectacle to see (see photos).

Now, about the food, we had a special pizza and a beetroot’s salad.

The salad was mouthwatering, though a bit more savory than my usual taste. Special pizza 🍕 was fair enough but nothing extraordinary.

Service was fair enough (even though salad came a bit after pizza arrived)!

Prices are almost normal for an everyday...
