Imperia President — Hotel in Katerini Municipality

I was disappointed, as I expected definitely more according to the reviews published by other travelers. |At the beginning it occurred that despite of the official description there is no private parking, but just few parking places in the street in front of the building. Just after our arrival, instead of a kind of 'warm welcome" we were reminded that we had to leave at noon during the check - out which was to be two days later. |The room was very small, difficult to move around. The bed had sharp edges, few times I hit myself painfully, so be careful with it. The bathroom for me was definitely too dark as there was only one small lamp over the mirror. There is no a hair dryer, maybe not crucial one during a hot summer but better to know. Stayed here for a weekend visiting the Paralia organised as part of a group booking. This hotel is family run, new and nice. Rooms are fine, but there were some kind of security light over the door that could never be switched off and during the night it was almost not possible to sleep. We had nice balcony overlooking the street where the local bus passes. The Lidl supermarket is very conveniently located nearby. The breakfast was poor, not adequate and finished early (8.30 am).
