I find your response extremely rude and unacceptable. I called the phone number listed online, and the person I spoke to clearly knew about the Lucia Loft, explicitly confirmed the booking, and also assured me that dogs were not a problem and were welcome in the loft – I specifically asked about this.
Now, claiming that I called the wrong hotel is simply outrageous. You are obviously aware of the loft, you confirmed the reservation, and now you’re trying to shift all the responsibility onto me, even though I communicated everything clearly and honestly. That’s completely unprofessional – especially considering that you present yourselves as pet-friendly

We wanted to book the Lucia Loft at Lucia Hotel in Paralia – 93 m² for €128. My girlfriend and her brother were traveling with our two dogs, coming all the way from Samos via ferry and then driving from Athens – a 15 to 16-hour journey. While they were on the road, I personally called the hotel owner to make sure the loft was available. He clearly confirmed the reservation, and I was simultaneously checking Booking.com – the loft was still listed as available the entire time. So there was absolutely no reason why he couldn’t have blocked the room right then.
When they arrived, the trouble started: the owner’s son gave them a key to the wrong room, which was only about 18 m² – completely different from the 93 m² loft. When my girlfriend went back to clarify, he simply said, “Oh yes, your room is upstairs,” but when they got there, other people were already staying in the loft!
I called the father again (the one I had originally made the arrangement with), but instead of taking responsibility, he just blamed the situation on others, saying that someone else booked it online in the meantime – which is not true, because I kept checking Booking during our call and it remained available.
He had my number and knew they were on their way, and he never called or informed us that the room was no longer available. That’s basic professionalism and courtesy – especially after confirming the reservation and knowing guests are arriving after a 16-hour trip.
This was completely unacceptable, disrespectful, and irresponsible. For a hotel that claims to offer personal service, this was the opposite.

Just one time the cleaning lady gave us a plastic bag for some trash… this was the entire service. And for the entire stay we got just one roll of toilet paper… it’s ridiculous.
