Mare del Sol — Hotel in Katerini Municipality

We spend a very beautiful holiday in September 2018! The room with 3 beds is spacious, big enough for 2 adults and a child. It is a self-catering accomodation wich means that you have to maintain yourself the room clean. There is a paper with hotel rules in the room and it is written in Romanian language too. The bathroom is a little bit small but functional. The kitchenette is basic equiped. No towels provided by the owner - if you want you can ask for them st the reception but you have to pay for them - this is specific for some hotels in Greece. The beach is 5 minutes away from the property, the centre is 7 minutes away where you can find a lot of shops, restaurants, bakeries. The owner is nice and helpful if you ask him. We didn't have any problems with check out. Anyway we are used with self-catering accommodations....

Unfortunately i cannot give 0 stars.My experience was terrible.The hotel offers you only one toilet paper and one towel per room for all your time here.Nobody comes to clean the room,at least take the trash out or change your sheets.Doesnt matter if you stay for 1 or two weeks.I have to mention that in a location where at summer is 35+ degrees you cant use the A/C if you dont pay extra.Avoid the...

Pot spune despre aceasta cazare ca nu este deloc ok. Nu se schimba prosoapele si lenjeriile de pat pe tot parcursul sejurului si nu se face curatenie. Peretii camerei sunt murdari, cu crapaturi pe ei, mobilierul era foarte vechi cu usi care scartaiau, nu se oferea decat o rola cu hartie igienica, iar sacii de gunoi sunt inexistenti. Pernele miroseau foarte urat, in camerele de pe fata era foarte cald noaptea pentru ca soarele batea toata ziua, iar la camerele de pe spate mirosea a rahat de pisici si erau tantari. Aerul conditionat era 7 euro pe zi si daca il porneai nu era foarte eficient. La geam nu existau perdele inchise la culoare care sa poata crea un mediu ok pentru dormit. Hotelul fiind amplasat in fata unui parc era mereu galagie si lumina foarte puternica de la iluminatul stradal. Camera nu era spatioasa, nu avea loc unde sa iti poti pune bagajele si avea paturi mici in care trebuia sa dormi inghesuit. Pe balcon esti intampinat cu un făraș si o mătură care arata intr-o stare groaznica, tencuiala este cazuta si este plin...
