Filoxenia — Hotel in Kythnos Municipality

We stayed in filoxenia for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.The hotel exterior is gorgeous with pretty flowers and potted plants in a little courtyard area.The rooms themselves were very comfortable and spotless with a nice balcony for sitting outside.The air conditioning was a welcome relief when it was very warm.The toileteries were of a high quality and the shower pressure and water temperature was excellent.Maria and Katerina were wonderful hosts and should be credited for the high standards that they maintain.I would also like to thank the lovely lady that cleaned our room and was so helpful if we needed an iron etc.The hotel is perfectly located as you enter into the pretty chora.If you want to escape from it all and need to chill Messaria is the place to visit and stay with Maria and her mom.You...

We had a lovely stay at Filoxenia and I would definitely stay again. The location is perfect as it’s within the town square making it easy to walk to all restaurants, cafes and shops. During summer it gets very noisy in the town square so if you like to sleep with the windows open it would be quite loud. But we had the windows shut with the air conditioning switched on and it blocked out the noise of the town square. The rooms were large, clean with comfortable beds. The room was a little dated but that also gave it an authentic Greek charm. There’s a beautiful outdoor seating area outside the reception. It has a beautiful vibe at night time. Questo piccolo gioiellino si trova proprio all'entrata della stupenda chora di questa bellissima isola|Un piccolo eden bianco blu contornato da fiori , da vasi azzurri ,da coccetti attaccati ai muri e dal sorriso di Katerina che alla partenza ci ha regalato anche un barattolino di capperi.|Noi avevamo la stanza con il balconcino che si affacciava all'interno|Avrei preferito averne una con vista sulla Chora anche perché immediatamente sotto avevamo una caciarona famiglia greca che praticamente urlava giorno e notte, oltre a diversi cani che non facevano altro che abbaiare|In sostanza nella stanza dove ho alloggiato Io non c'era una situazione di silenzio.|Nonostante questo non credo ci sia migliore scelta in Kythnos sia come location che come bellezza estetica della struttura|Stanza molto semplice però veramente spaziosa.|Bagno un po' piccolino però per quello che serve può bastare|Un piccolo balconcino dove facevamo colazione la mattina|Forse le sedie dovrebbero essere un po' più piccole perché erano veramente ingombrante per l'esigua stazza del balcone|Il parcheggio è appena sotto la struttura|In due passi entri nel meraviglioso mondo della Chora di Kythnos con pasticcerie bar taverne negozi che fanno a gara per essere un po' più colorato dell'altro.|La proprietaria Maria ci ha aiutato ad affittare un auto |E con questa abbiamo girato tutte le spiagge dell'isola|Un'isola molto tranquilla dove entrare il contatto con la cordialità e la gentilezza e soprattutto l'allegria e la voglia di vivere del popolo greco |è stata veramente una gran bella vacanza e per questo devo ringraziare oltre la natura greca anche il Filoxenia Studios consiglio a chiunque voglia andare a conoscere quest'isola unica di...
