Hotel Happyland — Hotel in Lefkada Municipality

Just returned last night from a 2 week stay at Happyland. Overall, really good accommodation. Few little niggles though that prevented me giving a rating of 5. ||Good location, 5-10 minute walk to nidri centre which was far enough away to be quieter. ||Think more could be made of the pool bar, menu limited so didn’t really see many people eating there. ||Pool area lovely, kept spotlessly clean & tidy but parasols are needed!! The only shade was at the side of the building or inside. ||Cleaning in the apartment could of been better, nothing major that led to me feeling the need to speak to reception as only used the room for getting ready & sleeping but definitely needs improvement. Not a huge problem for us but might be for others. All public areas are kept so clean and tidy. ||Was extremely disappointed to not be given a room to use on our last day. We weren’t being collected until 7pm, and whilst I appreciate that they were fully booked I’m sure there were some late arrivals which could of meant they could clean a room later to allow us a room to shower & change before our journey home. Especially as there was 8 of us the first week, and 4 the second. Having spent around €2700 between us to stay there...not to mention the drinks we bought whilst there, I felt a bit more could of been done to accommodate our request. ||Overall a really good place to stay and would recommend. Have had a wonderful well long stay at this Hotel. The pool was very quiet which seemed unusual however I think a lot of people use this Hotel as a base to visit other places and islands. The pool is great size for our family and cleaned daily. I wouldn't say pool is family orientated though, if you are looking for fun and your kids like splashing around it maybe isn't for you. We were asked twice to ask our children to be quieter which i found extremely frustrating as on holiday and our children should be able to have a giggle. ||||Pool food and drinks are limited and I feel that it would be much better to lower prices slightly and have greater range of snacks as this would have kept us around pool area and we would have spent more money. Instead we took short walk into the main resort. George was helpful and pleasant bar tender.||||Apartments were spacious and clean on arrival although the towels were changed in the week frequently the apartment wasnt cleaned nor the toilet and sink. ||||I would still recommend this Hotel for your stay in Nidri, the location suited us about 5 to 10 min walk to main high street. Breakfast was not included, but if you ordered it, they would bring it to the apartment, like room service! What I thought wow! The location of the apartment hotel is super good, being rated at 3 * but the conditions definitely reach 4 *. The staff is superbly friendly, friendly and helpful, and the surprise of the stay was dream: a marmalade made in the house, a rainbow in the mouth of the mouth !! Cleaning, cocktails at the pool, the apartment is super spacious and modern, cleaning is done daily, has a supermarket near the hotel, and is close to taverns and for a walk in the resort.
