Daltons Grill House — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

We had dinner here yesterday and, unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We ordered chicken gyros, two Pepsis, and a Greek salad. When we politely declined the bread — which wasn’t necessary with our order — our waiter disappeared and never returned. Another waiter eventually brought us the salad, but our first waiter avoided us for the rest of the evening.

We were waiting for the gyros for a very long time, while other tables that arrived after us received their food much faster. Only after we flagged down another staff member did our food finally arrive — about 5 minutes later. The portion was small, and the chicken was overcooked.

The waiter who initially greeted us was quite rude. The place is loud, the service is slow, and the food is bad. Overall, not worth the time or money. If you can, it’s better to skip Dalton’s...

We choose this restaurant following the desiderata of my kid, since it is a nice place; however it turned out to be the worst ratio price/quality that we had so far in Nidri. Waiters are very nice, in a nice position, but here pros end. I hate to write negative reviews, but we were three adults (two of which took a salad, and the third a fillet) and paid the same as we paid some days before near that restaurant ordering only fresh fish and top quality food, namely around 60 euros. Also the fillet wasn't that good (acceptable for a fast food, not for a restaurant price): a small piece of hard meat over a big carpet of French fries. We were so surprised that we assumed there was a mistake, but unfortunately it wasn't. A pity, since I had read some bad reviews about a similar restaurant in Lefkada but hoped this to be different. We waited for about 45 minute to 1 hour just so that waiter gets put order, while everybody around us, even people who came after us, were already been served. After waiter got our order, we waited additional 30 minutes to be served. The waiter brought us a tray with our four pita gyroses and didn't even bother to explain which one is pork and which one is chicken. We also weren't served the plates which other guests od the restaurant around us, had. Althogether, very bad service and unpleasent experience and wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone else.
