Merlot Village Lefkada — Hotel in Lefkada Municipality

Once you've found it (and owners are very helpful with that) - just a short drive up from the lovely village of Karya that comes alive at night, the views are to die for over the hillsides and out to sea. Owners and staff were delightful though don't be afraid to ask as its not your typical hotel set up...theres a working bar and delicious local food served to your room or to the communal eating area, but you have to ask! the villas are independent and fully equipped..and cleaned regularly. Very comfortable and clean...and staff on hand for regular cleaning and upkeep. This is a very special place and would be tempting never to move from the splendour of the site, but the island has so much to offer. While the location looks far from everywhere, it really isn't, but brace yourselves for narrow lanes and adventures...the beaches are utterly mesmerising for day trips - a different beach every day...||Would recommend...

Great view, very clean (the garden,the pool, the villa are cleaned daily), you find anything you need in the villa and the hosts are some amazing people who try to solve any request you might have. The location of the villa, up on the mountain, although it might seem a bit far from the main attractions of Lefkada, is an attraction itself and yet not that far (in 30 minutes you can get anywhere on the island). After a crowded and hot day on Lefkada's beaches coming to the quiet villa and watch an amazing view is refreshing. Plus the temperature is lower and everyone needs to cool down after a sunny beach day.Me and my friends had a great vacation over there and think of coming...

When you book it, just be aware that this is located in the Centre of Lefkada, but on a very big hill and the location is quite remote. So whenever you wanna go somewhere you need a car and go down. But you have a great view. The pool is clean is big enough as for the size of the place. The villas are quite spacious and were okay for 8 people we have been in. Google shows wrong location. On the very end to not turn left as it says. Go further straight and soon you will see the proper sign of the hotel. As for issues Wifi did not work. No prob for me as I was not using anyway. The hornets exist in this location. If this issue is fixed, the place will be...
