Blue Lake Villa — Hotel in Municipality of Apokoronas

The location was fantastic! so peaceful. Just down the road it’s the lake where you can find restaurants, souvenir shops and can rent paddle boats. the beach is also only 10 minute drive away. There js a lovely bar and restaurant just a short walk up the hill from the villa with spectacular views!!!

The Villa is like a dream! Everything is so well kept. Breathtaking views from every window! The sun is on the pool from sunrise until late afternoon where it’s then on the front of the villa where there is a lovely seating area so you can enjoy the sun all day. Then in the evening the outside lights up so you can sit out and enjoy the stars.

Polymnia is an excellent hostess! Always on hand if we had any questions. There were freshly made incredible home made cakes waiting for us when we arrived. The fresh eggs she dropped to us was a lovely added breakfast...

We enjoyed the most magical 3 days at Blue Lake Villa, just above Lake Kournas in a quiet, peaceful, gorgeous setting. The home is far more modern and comfortable than the photos show. Our family of 4 could have happily stayed here for weeks - everything we needed was provided by the lovely host family! The pool, multiple decks and seating areas, and the fully equipped kitchen is great, as is having laundry as needed. This location is truly gorgeous. Plus, the ability to get almost anywhere on the Western half of Crete within a reasonable drive makes this location ideal. We can't wait to...

Blue Lake Villa offers luxury accommodation in an idyllic spot. The views of Lake Kournas are glorious. The villa has everything you could want including outside grill, seating area and gorgeous pool with loungers in the water. The family who own this villa are wonderful. They are there on hand to help with anything you may need. They even brought us delicious home cooked food on occasion. What a treat! We hope to return to the villa again in the future.
