Hotel Perama — Hotel in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

My preference in hotels is traditional, and this is exactly what we got.|Upon arrival we were checked in straight away by the lovely Cheryl. Our room was on the first floor and boy did it not disappoint!|The view from the large balcony was spectacular to day the least. Overlooking the ocean and for me watching the aircraft’s fly very near in front of us was amazing..|Yes you hear the noice from the planes but it was not a problem at all! It was nice watching them in the evening whilst having some drinks on the large bedroom balcony.|The room|We had was great, Aircon which is a must, a decen size room with a flatscreen tv if you want to watch tv, a full size undercounted fridge that actually is cool and a freezer box to store your ice in. |The beds were extremely comfy and yes it may be a bit basic but has everything you want ( no tea coffee facilities in room) but that is not an issue!|The bathroom was small and the loo very close to the shower tray but again clean and functional and not a problem for us. Towels are changed daily sheets changed regular and complimentary body wash in bathroom.|Breakfast is served to your table however help yourself to tea coffee and juices. |Breakfast is served outside which is lovely.|Breakfast is the same every day but hey don’t complain you get plenty!|Breads, cheese, mortadella, boiled eggs, Greek yogurt, cornflakes, cake, and fruit salad. Really you don’t need anymore than that. Yannis and Cheryl are really great hosts and very friendly and welcoming. Some nice restaurants across the way from the hotel which are superb.|There is no beach as such...

We live in this hotel during 2 weeks. Breakfast was always the same. It became a torture in the last days of staying. We live in a room with the road view. It was not very cool especially when you are on vacation. Drain in the shower worked awful. The host (family couple), was not friendly at all. Especially the wife. I would say, she was rude to us, considering we were the ideal guests and came to the hotel only at night. On the last day, I got very high temperature and unfortunately we had to wait our plane until the very late evening at the hall in hotel. My husband inform the host about my condition, but she did nothing. She didn’t care about the people who had already checked out of her hotel. No advise, no pills, not even warm drink. She pass by during the day and even do not ask how am I doing. Thankfully we had Oasis hotel nearby, very polite receptionist gave us antipyretic tablet.||I think the host of Perama hotel are not interested in...

-What an amazing hotel! ||Everything from the arrival was just superb! ||Staff are so nice and friendly , lovely , helpful and efficient.||Nothing is too much trouble and we could clearly see they loved their jobs.||Breakfast was delicious||We ‘ve requested and we had a room on top floor !! Bottle of wine on the balcony with the amazing sea view, as well as watching planes landing to the Corfu airport was part from our favorite time. ||The hotel is always ‘spotlessly clean’, but additional measures have been implemented to keep everyone safe during the current COVID situation. ||As we had a car we were visiting daily , something like 25 kms from our hotel , Marathia’s beach and that was our favorite one. ||Sea water was pleasant warm and clear.
