We went to Nisos Restaurant on the evening of September 28 and we greated by Nikolas our waiter and shown to a table overlooking the bay and the airport and Mouse Island. We had a fantastic Greek Re wine Kinua recommended by Nikolas to accompany our meal. We started with a selection of classic appetizers (fried Halloumi, olives, tzatziki, saganiki and bread) and it was all delicious. Nikolas had recommended the sea bass which 3 of us had, which was served with grilled vestal potatoes and vegetables. The fish was grilled to perfection and Nikolas carefully served it at the table with most of the fish bones removed. The sea bass was firm with a nice crispy seasoned skin and served with a mild tomato sauce and lemon. One of our party had the shrimp spaghetti it it was a spicy tomato sauce with 3 large fresh shrimp. Dessert was a combination of baklava and a selection of ice cream. The meal was of very high quality served with great flair by the attending staff and Nikolas was very good at checking on the meal and refilling glasses. The view from the upper restaurant deck was incredible and we got to watch the moon rise over Mouse Island. While not inexpensive the meal and the view was spectacular and a real pleasure for our group.

The mistake we made was telling staff we are leaving the island in 4 hrs. It was our last meal there. This must have triggered the expensive mode. Our waiter (George) is probably the sole reason for my 1 star rating. Firstly, he’s quite a pushy salesman, upselling the menu even when you explicitly say you are done ordering. So much so, we received two puffy rolls with our food we didn’t order - we thought „maybe pastitsada and sofrito come here like that”. Ignored them, because as explained to George we try to avoid bread + we didn’t order that so it must have been complimentary, right? When it came to paying, I was told the number 39 euro and didn’t think twice, asked to add 5 euro tip as we enjoyed the food and our time there. Upon inspecting the receipt - photo attached - I noticed two items we didn’t know about. Environmental fee 2 euro per person and Oil and Bread for 3 euro which we explicitly didn’t want. Another mistake on my part - didn’t challenge the bill - just didn’t want to destroy our mood at the end of our vacation. Was quite surprised by climate fee as during entire week none of the 7 different restaurants we visited charged us environmental fee. Upon researching, there is climate fee you pay per person per day at a hotel, NOT a restaurant. Which Nisos explictely is. Also, the 2 euro climate fee doesn’t exist in fee schedule for hotels - it’s either 1.5 for 3 star or 3 for 4 star. It was completely made up! Not only that, George was perfectly happy to allow me to add another 5 euros on top. We’ve had many great restaurant experiences on Corfu and I left several 5 star ratings. This was the only issue we run into. Right at the end of our stay. For context it’s not about the money, it’s about respecting your customer. George evidently didn’t mind ripping us off as he knew he wouldn’t see us ever again.

Worst restaurant with very poor customer experience. Food was however quite good but negative things overshadows the food. Couple of things: 1. We had to wait for 10 minutes before getting the menu - even though it wasn't busy. 2. The waiter (man) told that there was a minimum order amount of 20 euro. We were not that hungry and only wanted to have some bites and drinks. This is really the first time I'm hearing of these sort of rules - truly don't care about their customers but rather their revenue. 3. Price way too expensive. Paying 7 euros for a large beer and 7 euros for 1 glass of wine is too much - even more expensive than in the Netherlands. 4. We got a big surprise when receiving the bill. We had to pay 3 euros extra fee. We asked the waitress and she told it was for the napkins etc. Also first time I'm hearing this sort of rules. Summarized, don't go to this restaurant. There are other lovely places in Corfu. We didn't want to ruin out holiday and argue with the staff but wanted to warn you all. Edit: look at their disrespectful respons below. Don't think I have to say more.

Our family of four recently dined at Nisos, and it was an unforgettable experience. The restaurant is perched on a stunning cliffside terrace, offering breathtaking views of Corfu and the surrounding sea. It was especially exciting for the kids to watch planes take off and land right over our heads, a unique and thrilling aspect of dining here. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Nicholas, our waiter, was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. He provided thoughtful recommendations, including an excellent wine that paired perfectly with our meal. The food was equally outstanding, with the highlight being the freshly made and perfectly filleted sea bass, simply delicious. Every dish was crafted with care, and the overall atmosphere made for a relaxed and special evening. If you’re looking for a restaurant with exceptional food, outstanding service, and panoramic views of Corfu, Nisos is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be coming back!

After a lovely day on Mouse Island, my partner and I stopped at Nisos for an early evening meal. We were not disappointed, straight from the welcome we were made to feel comfortable and relaxed, whilst being shown to a table that overlooked Mouse Island...stunning views. Our front-of-house waiter, Nikolas greeted us with a warm smile and offered us the menus. After a shared starter of Spicy Feta dip with bread, my partner had the Nisos Salad and I had the Chicken Skewer. This was accompanied with a bottle of Nisos white wine. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented and so tasty. The Chicken dish was the best meal I'd had during my week on the Island. From the perfect ambience, to excellent views and first class culinary fayre...you will not be disappointed. The whole dining experience was first class. Thank you to Nisos and in particular Nikolas for a fantastic dining experience...just excellent. Ralph and Marion 🙂

This is a restaurant with a beautiful view where you can watch the sunset over the sea and see planes take off and land, all while enjoying incredibly delicious food. We ordered sepia fish with vegetables, pasta with salmon, and octopus carpaccio. It was outstanding. The creamy linguine with the taste of smoked salmon were excellent, the tender octopus carpaccio on a bed of seasoned arugula was perfect, and the fish was cooked just right (not overdone) with a tasty salad and crispy fries seasoned with oregano. The house wine was truly delicious!And to finish, a kumquat liqueur and a little candy made for the perfect ending to an unforgettable evening! Almost forgot to mention the staff. The service was excellent. The waiters were very friendly and professional. Thank you for a really good evening !
