Monte Cafe — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Thomas totally saved us on the first day of our trip. His frappe and iced coffee come from homemade heaven and so do the sweet delicacies! My mom dreamt about visiting Greece again and having 'the real' frappe for 4 years and the first try in Monte Cafe didn't disappoint - on the contrary! The coffee is amazing and the effortlessly charming barista Thomas shared his love of the Kerkyra island and a lot of tips on places worth visiting and the best beaches.

If you're in the Corfu City craving an amazing coffee, skip all the touristy pretentious places, get in the car and make the 15 minutes trip to Perama, you won't regret it, I swear! Or even take the bus no. 6, direction of Benitses, the bus stop is right in front of the cafè. Monte Cafe should definitely be on your list of TOP places to visit while...

We came here due to the recommendations on Google and what can I say... We weren't disappointed!! The coffee really by far is the best at Corfu and if you ask for it, the owner (which is the only waiter, because it's a "one man runned" Café) even offers soy milk 👌🏽

We tried the lemon walnut Crêpe (also on basis of a Google review) and the vegetarian. They both were enough to saturate two adults and tasted sooo delicious! Especially the lemon walnut crepe... The prices are more than fair and at the top of it all, we got a little "present" at the end, which were two little nougat croissants 😍

If you are at Corfu, you HAVE to come by, take a seat and enjoy these fantastic Crêpes!

I don't know what kind of sorcery Tomas does but there's no other cafe that can ever beat his Monte Cafe! The Chicken, bacon, cheese tomato and mayonnaise crepe is to die for. I came here pretty much everyday whilst on my holiday and the consistency is on point! I always go for the Freddo and the Greek coffee which are lush! They are my go to and new favourite! The coffee and the food is only the tip of the iceberg, Tomas gives his all to please every person that walks in his café. He always goes the extra mile! He even remembers my name even though I've only mention it once. I know it may sound like I'm just hyping it up but go and give his cafe a visit, it will up your standards with coffee and food. I will definitely come to Corfu again just to have Greek coffee...
