Maison Metel — Hotel in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

The place is amazing! Wonderful pool with different deep zones is perfect for everyone, there is big area for kids, also big area to swim. A lot of sunbeds, trees all around - you can always choose sun or shadow side! Another fabulous thing it is garden with olive trees, cozy coffee tables and sunbeds, which looks especially great at sunset. What we also really like is that amount of people in this place will never make it a crowd place, you always feel really comfortable there! There are few restaurants in 5-15 mins walking distance (one of them is just on the beach), small market (15 mins walking) and supermarket (20 mins walking). In addition want to say that owners of this place are wonderful people, friendly and attentive. You always can ask them for any help they they will do their best!

Great accomodation, great host! We spent a couple of days here and we couldn’t have made a better choice. Quiet, private, relaxed place. The view from the loft apartment is just amazing, loved spending the mornings in the balcony. Nice beds, well equipped kithchen, spotless clean. The pool has a great size and depth for a nice refreshing swim. The garden looks amazing also. There is a taverna and also a beach nearby at walkable distance, but to be honest, we didn’t mind at all driving to the main town(which is a must see) and to the top beaches on the island, the property is very well placed very well on the island, strategially speaking. Beautiful setting, very peaceful. Owners are amazing, making sure everything is to your liking. Our apartment had a gorgeous, huge balcony with views to both the sea and the pool, and inside it was spacious and spotless. Beds were comfy too. Shower head had to be held by hand, slight annoyance but not a major problem. Small local shop about 10 mins walk away, pricey but ok for a few bits. And a couple of waterside bars/restaurants not too far. 10 minute downhill walk and across busy road to catch the bus to Corfu Town (20 mins). We were only there 3 nights, any longer we would have liked a car to make exploring the island a bit easier, though the Green Bus service is very good. I would definitely stay here again if I...
