DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!!
Be very careful with prices by the kilo, this allows them to con you. We ordered a sea bass, when it came it wasn’t more than 500 grams and they wanted to charge us 1 kilo! I come from a mediterranean country and I am used to fish. They wanted €55 euros for the tiny fish which was an insult. The sea bass came with literally 3 pieces of awfully cooked vegetables! They also charge you for the olive oil they bring that you don’t ask for. The prices of the drinks in the menu do not correspond with the ones on the bill, which were increased! We complained and refused to be robbed by paying the unjustified bill. The staff were unkind and some aggressive and violent. The service was also slow and the location full of mosquitoes.
I have never refused to pay a bill before but you cannot allow people to rob you and make you feel stupid.
Be careful with these guys, they are not...
Read moreTwo stars as there is no excuse for making an error that has happened before to other clients-reviewers. The weight of the fish charged was in excess of what was communicated. Credit to them, they refunded the difference. Also the fish soup was good. A side boiled vegetables dish came at 12 euros cause we asked for a variety (not just one type of greens), yet almost half of it had potatoes. The normal portion is 6 euros. Poor communication so as to shape expectations and poor value for money overall. I can accept high prices for fresh fish but at that level they need to be accompanied by higher culinary and service skills, not just the willingness to please. No wine list with wine by the glass. The view of the lake infront is great, but the restaurant has not stepped up to match it, in design, staff, cuisine atmosphere. Lack of professionalism which at the times when Greece was 'cheap' was...
Read moreAmazing location and view. We walked from Gouvia which was a lovely stroll around the marina in the evening, taking only around 30 minutes.
The staff were very friendly and really accommodating.
If you can, get a table right next to the water because it has the best view of the boats and you can watch the fish swim by!
The food came quickly and was beautifully presented, honestly the best seafood I have ever had- everything fresh and full of flavour. Would also recommend getting a few starters rather than one large meal. We had octopus in vinegar, calamari (really crispy and delicious), grilled shrimps (a must have), the roula salad (has octopus, shrimps and little white fish), and amazing homemade chips, tzatziki and bread. All washed down with local red wine which was also amazing.
Would 100% go again, and if you are in the area it's must try, cannot rate them...
