Luca’s houses — Hotel in Municipality of Chalki

5 Stars for the below: Shower - best we’ve had and separate from washroom. Amenities - everything and more for toiletries and kitchen Location - perfect Extra ps - wine water and coffee for press ( 1 serving ) Housekeeping - pleasant , efficient and generous providing what was needed.

BUT - this should be called the Hobbit Apt #3 . There is a SAFETY issue if taller than 5”10 ( I’m 6’2” ) . Was not described in listing.

What takes the ⭐️ away is Mgr / Owner ( Anna ) refusal to move us to another apt. For the SAFETY issue which she described as an UPGRADE request for less than 50 % more of what we paid . Perhaps we were spoiled in Kalymnos , Simi and Tilos with the friendliness and concern for our comfort not to mention our SAFETY.

Never met Anna in person . The Apt we discussed in moving to stayed EMPTY the nights we inquired to move to. I got to keep my Euro’s in my pocket while deftly avoiding the ceiling and light bulbs for 4 nights.

Would definitely come back to Halki - just not Lucas Houses only for this reason and her shortsightedness to squeeze more $ over a financially committed...

I had the most incredible vacation at Halki, staying at Luca's Houses. The breathtaking views from the property are nothing short of mesmerizing and only seemed to become more captivating as the days went by. The beauty of the Greek island combined with the warmth and comfort of Luca’s Houses made this trip truly unforgettable.

What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional hospitality of Giannis, the owner. His genuine kindness and attentiveness added a personal touch that made me feel like part of the family. From the stunning views to the well-maintained accommodations, every aspect exceeded my expectations.
