Mastorakis Hotel and Studios — Hotel in Municipality of Chersonissos

I was staying here for four nights on my journey through Crete and can definitely recommend it. The rooms seem to have been just renovated and are very modern and pleasantly decorated. Nice, comfortable lights and lovely rain shower.

One of the things that I really liked was the shape of the room. Instead of having one square room with a pentry which makes you feel like you're sleeping in a kitchen, it had the shape of the letter U, with the pentry on one side of the bathroom and the bed area on the other. This made it seem as if you had a little appartement instead of a room. Genius!

Another thing that was a great plus, was that, despite being less than a ten minute walk to the beach and middle of the centre, you can't hear the constant music and noise here. You will sleep well to the sound of crickets and still be so close to everything you might want. Plus, in the direction up the road is the Old Hersonissos and to the west a stone's through to Lidl.

We recently stayed at Mastorakis Hotel and Studios during our family trip to Crete, and we couldn't be happier with our experience!

From the first moment, the staff was incredibly kind, made as feel truly welcome – warm, friendly always with a smile and ready to help with anything we needed. The hospitality here is amazing and truly reflects the Cretan spirit.

The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. It felt safe and quiet, which was ideal for my child’s sleep. Fully equipped with everything i could possibly need. From practical essentials to small thoughtful touches, everything was there, which made traveling with a child so much easier and the view from the balcony was stunning.

This structure gave me mixed feelings. What's good: 1.position (quite place very close to the center), 2.car parking in front of the hotel, 3.good dimension of the apartment. What's not good: 1.wifi: in the room it doesn't connect, good connection in the hall and swimming pool instead, 2.room cleaning: the second day the room were not clean, 3.bathroom: the water from the shower goes all over the bathroom and stay there for hours making the room really unpleasant, 4.Kitchen: missing items, e.g. sponge to clean plates, tablecloth, hand towel. building maintenance: the garden with pool, probably the strongest point of the hotel is not treated, maintained as expected. in the attached photo you can see the shower in the garden, with plants growing inside of it and the bar next to it closed and with fissures in the wall.
