Well, where to begin??? What could have been an awful , awful holiday was saved, by quite possibly the best pub not only on Greece, but in the world. Whether it's a cheeky shenanigan with the lads, or your whole party you're guaranteed to have a smashing, spectacular time in Shenanigans Irish pub. Let me tell you this, not one Dirty Dutch person will be found in shenanigans, and believe me this town is full of the rude, arrogant and damn right racist dutch. Infact, reading into the Dutch traditional culture, I couldn't quite believe how racist they were. Black Pete? Disgusting. It's really quite funny, as rude as they are, I could barely understand their terrible Dutch. They speak much better Dutch in Belgium. They all look the same, big, lanky and ugly.
..however back to the real meat of this review, Shenanigans is the place to be. Amazing music, Classic Shenanigans really. Oh and don't let me forget the amazing toilet man..working tirelessly with a smile on his face
P.s don't forget to stop into Cameo down the road. Ares is...
Read moreEntered this place at 2pm on the day of the Euro finals and fell in with a Scottish and Ukranian couple, drinking the most expensive cocktails and Guiness all day only to be asked to leave at 6pm because they allowed someone to reserve our table when they rang. They claim they asked us to move but in reality they said two of us could move to another table but the rest had to leave. Imagine kicking anyone out of your bar when they've been there all day drinking and causing no hassle, never mind kicking the only Irish couple out of an Irish bar to make sure it was only English football fans there, pathetic. Will not be back in this place ever and I advise all Irish to boycott, loyalty to paying customers is an international tradition. They remove my replies on Facebook to save their reputation but I feel everyone should be aware of the way they treat the Irish in a so called Irish bar. Will never return to this bar when I'm back in Crete, such a shame as its a lovely bar and we were loving the craic until...
Read moreWe drank in here on Friday night, where they were quite happy to take our money. Last night, I was sat in a bar next door to shenanigans, and due to being disabled, could not, use there bathroom facilities. So I popped next door to shenanigans. We were planning to go in their next anyway. I was stopped by one of their staff (an English woman, dark hair) she stopped me refused to let me use the facilities. Embarrassed me, i felt humiliated. Luckily a greek gentleman from one of the other bars, realised, what had happened, and showed me to his bathroom facilities in his bar. So me and my friend decided to spend our money in his bar, instead of giving it to shenanigans. This woman also laughed in my face at the end of the night as I was walking past, admittedly the dirty look I gave her, may have added to that. I will not spend no more money in this pub, and have advised all disabled people round the hotel we are staying in, to avoid...
