Blue Sardines — Hotel in Municipality of Eastern Samos

We booked 3 rooms for 6 people but later on our plans changed and we were going to be 7 persons. I called and asked if we could arrange another bed in our rooms for an extra charge and the owner said that it would be ok but asked for €85 for 1 night, which was more expensive than each room per night…The day we arrived, the owner suddenly said that it was impossible to add an extra bed and wanted to give us another room for €185 for just 1 night! We found that too expensive so then he changed the price to €125 but after having a conversation he said that 3 persons could stay in 1 room for free. The next day he asked for €75 because he found a sheet on the floor, saying that it had turned from white to black (dirty floors!).Obviously he found an excuse to charge for the extra person.We found that ridiculous but we gave him the money. The rooms and sheets were dirty. Our shower looked like this from the day we arrived to the day we left (after 4 nights), even though they supposedly cleaned the rooms daily. PS i am blonde! The a/c dindt work properly, the building smelled like sewage and sometimes you had to shower with ice cold water.Also the wifi wasnt working. The only good thing was the location but i definitely dont recommend these rooms, unless you want to support a rude owner that is always looking for reasons to charge you for things you shouldnt be...

We stayed there for 3 nights last week. Everything was amazing. Our room was cleaned each day and you could smell the cleanliness. The room that we stayed had good design and felt new, we could find everything we looked for. The hotel is really close to center, there is also a restaurant in downstairs. But we haven’t faced any noise problem. It was so close to center but was also really calming. The street that hotel is placed was really charming and also there is a free parking lot that is just 50 meters away. Also the owner (also the owner of restaurant) was so welcoming and friendly, he guided us about how we should spend our time in the island and all of his suggestions were so satisfying. We didn’t have any problem about wifi as well. He also gifted us a bottle of wine. We already got a recommendation from our friends to stay here, but we would also recommend our friends to stay here. We would stay there again if we go to...

The room is located on a noisy street, above the restaurant which keeps you awake long into the night. For the price you pay, it is shocking there is absolutely no service-the owner asks everyone to throw toilet paper in the bin, yet did not attempt to empty it for a few days. No one did the bed either. Was I supposed to do number two elswhere? When confronted, the owner turned agressive, told me I was negative and that we were no longer welcome in the room. Practically threw us out as I told him it was unacceptable for him to come into our room as we were in bed at 11 p.m. and told him it was not OK for him to come in. I felt violated! He never apologized. There are better placws, that cost less, they value ypur custom and even throw in a killer breakfast + the view. Avoid if ypu...
