Papoulias Rooms — Hotel in Municipality of Elafonisos

Giorgos and his sister welcomed us in a very friendly manner which made us feel confortable right from the start. We parked our car in the large private parking right opposite the flats and Giorgos offered to carry our laggage to our room. Entering the building it felt fresh and very tidy with a large sitting area with TV and board games. An open self catered kitchen is available to all tenants and equipped with amenities to prepare coffee and tea, which can be accompanied by wonderful homemade cookies. Our room was on the second floor and enjoyed street and garden/sea views from 2 balconies. The room was spacious and very clean with refrigerator, air conditioner, flat TV and confortable double bed. The bathroom and shower area were very adequate. Overall our experience was very positive. We have been visiting the island for the past several years, but never stayed in the village before. Papoulias rooms are just a few meters from the main street with the tavernas and stores, just a short walk from everything this little beautiful island has to offer, but still secluded enough to enjoy some quiet moments. We will definitely come back...

George and Nena are incredibly hospitable and accommodating hosts. We arrived around 11:30am without letting them know and they immediately helped us with our luggage and said a room could be ready within 30 minutes but we could change in another room if we would like. Upon our check out they offered us coffee and breakfast sweets. From our room on the first floor we could see the water. The only reason I’m not giving this five stars is that the AC worked well but I was still a bit warm and the refrigerator was a little noisy. This would not stop me from coming back or recommending the place. Si vous parlez français, Nena parle...

Superb place to stay for a visit to Elafonisos. It’s located in the town centre, two minutes from the arrival port. Only a few minutes drive from Simos beach. Parking is easy in a beautiful car park shaded by olive trees. Restaurants and local shops are so close - just one minute walk.|Accommodation itself is very clean and nice. Beds are comfortable and the air conditioning is wonderful in the heat. |The highlight of this place is the hosts who are simply wonderful.
