However, the grilled octopus we tried was sooo tough, dry, impossible to chew and super salty, that we brought it back. I have never been served a worse octopus. When we asked how come it is so tough and dry, the waitress started explaining that fresh octopus is always supposed to be like this..!Which of course is total nonsense. Read moreWe chose this tavern as it was less crowded than other places around port area. So we ordered a bigger fresh fish (black grouper) to share. Unfortunately it took an uunusually long time to get the fish on our table, about 45 minutes waiting. When finally our meal arrived, we asked the waitress why it had taken so long; she seemed surprised by our question and innocently replied that it is the regular (cooking on the grill) time for larger fish.
