Nice fresh fish that you can select and get it grilled or fried- we opted for grilled. Sadly not grilled on coal. Gorgeous greek salad and good quality oil and homemade fries.

Staff is friendly and keen to help.

Loads of cats around waiting to eat your food and some even jump on you.

You can probably have a decent meal anywhere on the island but Ourania is where you go for the best authentic Greek meal! I tried quite a few dishes during our week-long stay and was blown away by the flavors. We had the braised goat, imam bayildi, grilled fish, fried anchovies, pork chop, moussaka, grilled and pickled octopus, fried vegetables (zucchini/eggplant), and shrimp pasta and everything was simply outstanding. The most expensive but the worst saganaki I've eaten in Greece. We've been coming to Greece for over 20 years and love Greek food especially rustic, and traditional restaurants. This was cheap, maximum profit minimum effort food. Complete tourist trap. Moussaka was terrible, practically no meat and mostly made up of 4cm of bready, heavy sickly bechemel.
