We stayed for just 2 nights as we were travelling to the East of the Island from our base in Chania, although only booked accomodation we had a very welcome pack of breakfast goodies and wine - a lovely touch.||||The apartments were clean, well furnished and very comfortable, well worth the price, our two apartments overlooked the Sea, and although a little early in the season, it has a lovely pool and barbercue area which no doubt will be welcome in the hotter summer months. A great base for the east/Sitea area and glad we chose Koutsounari rather than ierapetra - which was our inital choice, so much nicer and peaceful. Read moreWe stayed here for nearly two weeks. It was a very comfortable clean and quiet place to stay. Lovely sea and mountain views. There is a short walk up from the beach to the apartment but not that steep. Good roads and nearby parking. 6 good tavernas in walking distance. 3 very close, |A very nice pool and sunbathing area with lovely views of the sea. |The beds were comfortable and good shower and hairdryer provided. Also iron and ironing board. Plenty of storage too. |I would recommend people to stay here as central for several other nice beaches and lovely mountain walks.
