Menori Luxury Suite — Hotel in Municipality of Kalymnos

This has been the best Airbnb experience we have ever had.

Chara & Nick did everything they could to make sure we had the most comfortable stay in their beautiful house. We had a lot of contact over WhatsApp from them prior to our stay to make sure we had all the information we needed to get there, they even helped with ferry crossing information and sent their housekeeper to meet us at the ferry in Pothia with the car they arranged for us (at an amazing competitive rate I will add!). He showed us to the apartment and made sure we had everything we needed when we arrived.

Chara and Nick had kindly stocked the fridge with some basics and some lovely local delicacies, as well as fresh bread and fruit for us. The Bathroom had a range of bespoke soaps and shampoos, as well as new bamboo toothbrushes and natural sponges.

As our trip was during Jan-Feb, we found the house was quite cold when we arrived, Chara & Nick ordered us an electric heater to make sure we were comfortable!

The area has some good restaurants nearby, and is very close to local shops and a large supermarket. For nightlife, a taxi into Pothia was only 10 Euros.

As for the house itself, it was immaculately clean when we arrived, the beds are really comfy and the shower is hot and high pressure. The whole place full of little details you don’t notice in the photos, it’s a stunning place to stay and has a great calm feeling about it. It’s located above a quiet street so the outdoor seating area was great for breakfast as it gets lots of sun in the morning.

The housekeepers did an amazing job and left the place spotless every time, and we were always made aware of when they would arrive in advance.

We feel so well looked after by Chara & Nick, we will definitely be booking their place again next time and I’d recommend it to anyone looking to stay...

Menori, a fully renovated, spacious, and charming traditional cottage, is an absolute gem nestled in the stunning countryside of Kalymnos island. It is situated within a short distance from the most beautiful beaches and bays of the island, while also benefiting from the tranquility of the Kalymnian countryside. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of unparalleled warmth and comfort. The attention to detail in the decor made us feel instantly at home, and the fully stocked fridge with a variety of local delicacies was a delightful surprise. Each morning, we were treated to a sumptuous breakfast spread that catered to every taste, setting the perfect tone for our days of exploration. Nick and Chara, the hosts, are the epitome of hospitality. Their welcoming and generous nature, coupled with their untrusive yet attentive presence, made our stay truly exceptional. Their guidance and assistance throughout our time in Kalymnos were invaluable, and their proactive approach to ensuring our comfort exemplified Greek hospitality at its finest. Our experience at Menori was nothing short of unforgettable, thanks to Nick and Chara. We are immensely grateful for the memories they have given us and can't recommend their cottage...

Great place for our six night stay on Kalymnos. The apartment is perfect for two people, has a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine and a great terrace for stay-in breakfast or dinner.

We rented a scooter nearby to get around the island. The next beach is a 15 minute walk and there is a bus stop nearby, but to explore the island and it’s beautiful beaches a scooter or rental car is much more convenient.
