Authentic Greek Hospitality at Its Finest!

Taverna Nikolas isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and the irresistible aroma of homemade Greek dishes. True to their motto, they serve Food, Not Fast Food, and every bite proved it.

What We Loved: 🍽️ Mama’s Recipes: The moussaka was clearly made with generations of love—creamy, spiced to perfection, and topped with the crispiest béchamel. 🍕 Surprise Star: Their wood-fired pizza (yes, pizza!) had a uniquely Greek twist with local cheeses and oregano from the hills. 🌿 Vegetarian Heaven: As a veggie traveler, I adored the stuffed vine leaves and grilled feta with honey their vegan options were equally thoughtful.

The Magic Touch: Owner Nikolas circled the terrace like a proud host, ensuring every table felt like family. When we asked about the raki’s herbal notes, he brought us a complimentary taste of his private reserve!

Mediocre food served with bad attitude. We tried this place as it was quiet and we felt bad for them. Waitress was very sullen and clearly didn't want to be there. We ordered drinks which took about 10 minutes to come as she was too busy changing tablecloths even though there were very few other people in the restaurant. She brought us our wine and water but didn't give us any glasses for the water. We eventually went over and picked some up from another table. Food was okay but nothing to write home about. Me and my friend found this chill and local restaurant right by our hotel. When we first came here and tried we were greeted by the amazing Nikolas himself (the owner) and he explained to us all the diches, but he insisted on the traditional greek dishes. We tried the moussaka and loved it! Best I’ve ever tried. This was soon to be our favorite restaurant, it’s cheap and has the best food ever. They also gave us starters that were on the house. Nikolas and the staff is super lovely and they deserve all the tip possible. Definitely recommend everybody trying this place! We came here multiple times and hope to come...
