The best Greek food from the kindest family. As I set foot in this restaurant, after a locals recommendation which I met at the beach, I knew I would return. And so I did, every single evening of my 7 day stay on the Island.

The food is finger licking good, fresh, with a menu that changes every day of the week. Meat that melts in your mouth, great variety - both for meat and fish lovers as well as vegetarians.

The portions are generous, and prices are very honest. There is a calm atmosphere and the entire dining experience feels very genuine.

Marinos and family will gladly go out of their way to accommodate for your requests.

Please give this restaurant a try, you will not be disappointed - and maybe, like me, you will return for each of your dining experiences.

It is hard to find words to describe such a warm and delightful experience we had in Marinos Restaurant during our stay in Kalymnos. Every day this family offers meals that are just a little piece of heaven. As a vegetarian, who keeps dairy food to a minimum, there is no better place to go, there are daily soups and vegetarian/vegan dishes and the food is fresh, tasty and utterly delicious in every way. To make everything even more pleasurable, Marinos’ family is so welcoming, amiable and receptive that choosing to go there almost daily just felt natural to me.

I just can't recommend this restaurant enough.

Honestly I have no idea how this place is showing 4.8 stars. Maybe it's because we went there on a Sunday. We were told sorry nothing on the fish menu is available. We're also told the items on the Sunday menu were not available because they have a daily menu that changes as well. There is nothing inside the case for food except for what looked like a pasta that has been sitting out for over 8 hours. Options were very limited. Our server seemed shy and non-informative other than what was not available, which was a lot. This place is referred to us so we went there. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Again it was a Sunday so maybe that's why standards were not there. I will not...
