IL POSTO Στεφανίδη Μαρίκα — Restaurant in Municipality of Kalymnos

Food was very good and large portion sizes, we had burgers mainly. We would have ordered dessert and drinks if service had been better, ended up leaving annoyed. After been served our food we were totally ignored, no one came to ask if every thing was OK did we need anything else drinks etc, then when we finished we sat with dirty plates for nearly an hour. Finally my husband got up and went to find someone to pay. We always tip highly in Greece as we understand the difficulties with the economy, however this is one of the few places I cannot justify that, unfortunately we left feeling ignored...

The owner was very rude and arrogant. Although we came with the child, he did not say that the kitchen was busy and kept us waiting for 45 minutes without giving any information. And when I told him our orders were late, he became arrogant enough to come on top and answer. By the time the food arrived, the drinks were over. kebab and spaghetti was awful. Atmosphere and the location are nice and the owner use this opportunities to be rude. I voted 2 stars for food for only schnitzel. It was a big mistake...

Beautiful Greek taverna. Grilled meat dishes are out of this world especially gyros plate. Greek salad super fresh and very tasty. Prices extremely reasonable and owner Antonio is a great chap, very friendly and attentive. Been coming to Greece for over 35 years and visited numerous islands ... Kalymnos one of the best and Il Posto has some of the best Greek cuisine I have ever enjoyed. See you soon I hope. Go here you will...
