Elaia Villas | Karpathos Family Villas — Hotel in Municipality of Karpathos

ELAIA VILLAS - Luxury in the wild Elaia villas are a bunch of nice, paste coloured villas in Lakki, a pretty wild area of Ammopi. They are just 20 mins by car from the airport: just be careful to the last few metres of the street that have no pavement yet. When arrived (even if with a material delay of our flight) we received the warm welcome by Costas and Vasilis: they showed us the house (we had the Liodendros villa) and have been available for us all the holiday long (10 days). The house is a beautiful villa with big dining room (including reconstruction of typycal greek beed - usable by paying 8€ per night), well furnished kithen (to cook and have nice meals at home - supermarket is 15 mins by car) beedroom with TV and with a big wardrobe (where you can find also hair drier and ironing tools), well organized bathroom (with both bath and shower) and two balconies, one with the necessaire to dry washed clothes and one provided with table and chairs that we often used to drink something or smoke a cigarette or a cigar in the evening. The house is wanderfully decorated in every single detail, which made our journey more pleasant and comfortable than expected. As anticipated the villas are pretty close to the airport, only5 mins far from Ammopi (with some beautiful beaches and many good tavernas) , 15 mins far form Pigadia (main town) and from 20 mins to 1 hour far from the most beautiful beaches in the south of the island. If you want to visit also the north (we had no time, unfortunately) you will need more than one hour by car. Karpathos in general and the villa in particular were over our expectations and we would like to come back to enjoy again this experience...

We had an absolutely fantastic time at this beautiful apartment on Karpathos! The highlight of our stay was definitely the outdoor jacuzzi—it was such a treat to relax there every evening, taking in the stunning views of the island. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable, perfect for our group of five.

What really set this place apart, though, was the exceptional service. The daily housekeeping was a wonderful touch and made our stay feel even more luxurious. The apartment was always spotless, and it was so nice to return to a clean and tidy space after a day of exploring.

I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Karpathos. It was the perfect home base for our island adventures, and we can't wait...

it was peaceful and quiet, albeit a bit remote. We didn't have a car but the owner picked us up at the bus stop. AND, he took us to the airport early the next morning at 6 am. SUPER friendly and accomodating. Very good value for the money and only about 10 minutes from the airport.
