What an experience! This is what I call a taverna! The food was amazing and everything came with complimentary potatoes , rice or salad! Everything tasted fresh and the chef which is also the owner has a talent for making food. The steak I got melted in my mouth and was not only beautifully seasoned but cooked to perfection as well. The chef is not only very hospitable but also very helpful by showing you with samples what you are going to get and the most important thing for me is to feast with my eyes first! Another big plus is that everyone gets the same treatment no matter how big the table is or how many things the customers have ordered and let me tell what a treatment that was, everything was on point and the waiter is not only a very fun young man but also super friendly and helpful with any information you would like to know. He also speaks fluent English with a really good accent which would fool almost anyone! The only thing missing in my opinion is more customers because this place deserves it! Would recommend to everyone, definitely coming...

Elias, owner and head chef, is a true host extraordinaire. He brings in his vast experience traveling countries across the globe, from Thailand to Canada into his own restaurant. His dishes are thoughtful, use only the very best, fresh and local ingredients and are executed with solid technique.

He makes basic and humble greek dishes into a real event that everyone coming to Karpathos should not miss!

Every plate that leaves his kitchen is prepared with heart and care, especially the dishes that are based on the recipes of his Father and Mother, who both are great chefs too!

Well we went here based on the 5 star ratings, but there are better quality Taverna's to choose from...the dish I had was a typical slow cooked oven lamb dish which was good all round..no complaints. My wife selected a Caesar chicken salad which was not good...burnt bacon throughout, not by a little but black and the chicken had a strange texture as if it was cooked from frozen, and basically tasteless. We expressed this to the waiter when he cleared, but nothing was mentioned there after by him or the chef when paying...out of the 2 weeks in Rhodes and Karpathos this venue lacked the personal Greek welcoming feeling and personal pride that we experienced in home style...
