Well although it looks good from the outside Taverna Nina lacks in other departments that make a taverna great. The wait was not that long and the food is not that bad but it doesn’t reach the quality of other tavernas in the area where the food is not that blunt. In my time as a reviewer we have a saying that says if the chef starts to decorate the plate with parsley you know he has lost confidence in his food. Its really sad to wait for a plate you ordered and then to get it differently than advertised. Also it seems that they pay much more attention to the big tables rather than the ones sitting outside and that’s another big minus especially for a taverna which are known for their hospitality. One last thing that I noticed is the lack of complimentary food with the main course like rice and potatoes and the only main courses that had it written down were the kids meals which are a small portion of food to begin with. Also my appetisers seemed to be frozen which really upset me.. I don’t think I will be coming back and neither would I recommend...

The waiter acted more like a clown than a professional, which immediately gave the whole visit an unpleasant vibe. When I asked a simple question, his response was: “Buddy, look at the menu.” Really? It was just one question, he could have simply answered. I would understand if I had asked too many things, but to get such a dismissive comment right away was just rude.
On top of that, the food tasted bad and old. And then, how do you even fail at making a Greek salad? That alone says it all, it was honestly a joke. I had been looking forward to eating here after all the fake reviews I read, but clearly, none of them reflect reality. If I could, I’d give this place a negative...
Read moreTaverna Nina is a very nice place with a relaxing atmosphere. The food is excellent and I was very happy to be able to add to the Ceasar salad some fresh tuna (old memories). The disapponting thing about this taverna is one of the owners. He is unpolite and rude. He needs to work on his manners. If I wanna order different things from the menu and I am paying for them he can not tell me to should up and give me lessons how to combine food. First there are different ways to try to explain things...and second you should never forget to bring respect to...
