LUIS APTS — Hotel in Municipality of Kos

Stayed in the Luis Apartments for the final 7 nights of our 4 week holiday on Kos and Kalymnos.|Around a 10 minute stroll up a slight hill from the village of Mastichari.|The apartments have recently been refurbished completely. We were given a 2 bedroom apartment which was unbelievably spacious and spotlessly clean. The level of amenities was very high. A very well equipped kitchen area, a fantastic bathroom with a ‘rain dance’ shower cubicle. Complimentary toiletries were included along with a vanity kit and anti-bacterial wipes.|Each bedroom had a massive Kingsize bed, flat screen TV and full air conditioning.|There was a very specious balcony including a new table and 4 chairs.|The rooms were serviced every day, with the bins emptied daily and towels and bed linen changed every other day. Maria the housekeeper keeps everything spotless. She even carried our bags up to the apartment.|Vivi was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. She has a good knowledge of the area and events in and around Mastichari. She arranged for our pre-fight Covid tests to be done in the apartment the day before our departure.|I would definitely recommend staying at the Luis Apartments.|Thanks Vivi and Peter for a wonderful stay. My wife and I stayed in Mastichari 2 years ago and decided to go back this year but for a full week. I had passed the Luis Apartments and booked direct through Peter at Matihari holidays. Couldn't have been simpler and plenty contact throughout leading up to arriving. I booked room 317 as a first floor seaview apartment with air con and was certainly not disappointed and great balcony to sit out on and enjoy sunshine and the views. The apartment was very clean and had everything we could have needed. There is use of the Luis pool just across from the apartment and best loungers I've seen at any accommodation recently. There is also a great café/restaurant there and great value. We had late checkout and Peter organised our taxi to the airport. Excellent service and must give a big mention to Maria the lovely woman that cleaned up after us every day and ensured that we always had toiletries and clean towels/bedding - ALWAYS with a smile and a cheery chat. The positive of Luis apartments is their location. Just enough out of town for it be nice and quiet. Five minutes from lovely beach and main resort. Nice spacious apartment with lovely views. There is no pool here but you are allowed to use pool opposite if you buy food or drink from them. It worked well for us. We did like the accommodation and would go back.||The negative. |I think we were the first guests of the season. There was a problem trying to communicate with the management of the apartments before they opened at the beginning of May. They did not answer e mail, WhatsApp or messages sent through booking agency. I even tried to telephone but the person who answered did not understand me. This was a big drawback which would have led us to cancel had we not missed the free cancellation window. I understand they were not open but you should be able to communicate with them about...
