Hotel Apartments Elena — Hotel in Municipality of Leros

I stayed at Hotel Apartments Elena’s for 5 nights, and I can honestly say this hotel played a huge role in making me fall in love with Leros. The hotel is extremely clean — housekeeping came daily, and everything stayed fresh and spotless. My room was spacious, and the kitchen was fully equipped and definitely not small. It was perfect for a longer stay. The balcony was large with a lovely view — it became one of my favorite spots to relax, especially in the mornings and evenings. Even small but important details like plenty of clothespins and a good laundry rack were already thoughtfully provided. The location is also excellent. Just a short walk to the beach, the supermarket, and several great restaurants. You won’t have any trouble finding delicious and affordable food nearby. But what truly makes this place exceptional is Michalis (Mike) and his wonderful family. They don’t treat you like just another guest — they treat you like a friend or even family. Their kindness and helpfulness were above and beyond anything I expected. Mike personally contacted multiple car rental companies to get me the best deal and most comfortable option, as if he was arranging it for himself. He also gave me detailed advice on which beaches to visit depending on the wind and weather, and what to do in case the ferry might be cancelled due to strong winds. From restaurant recommendations to practical local tips — they helped with absolutely everything. It felt like I had someone local I could trust and ask anything. That’s incredibly valuable when you’re on a trip. Myself & my husband arrived in Leros in late May, took taxi to Elena Apts where we were greeted by Michael who took our cases & showed us to our room which was very spacious. We were self catering and there was everything you needed in your apt. Our Balcony was spacious and sun facing so was lovely to sit out on for breakfast. The restaurants of Alinda were within walking distance.The Elena Apts are well looked after and the garden, full of flowers and shady sitting areas is beautiful. Michael who is the son told you everything you wanted to know about Leros & Greece - he is so knowledgeable, we loved talking to him. Beautiful, peaceful, spotless, and well run. This was our second stay this year (we also visited last year) and the quality has been consistently excellent. The rooms are compact apartments with fully equipped kitchens, which made our stay easy and comfortable. The hotel is a short walk from the wonderful Alinda beaches; we actually prefer that it’s not right on the waterfront—quieter and away from traffic and noise.
