EcoHeaven Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Malevizi

I recently stayed here and wanted to share some feedback. The property didn’t match the photos, and a few things could be improved—no wardrobe, uncomfortable pillows, faulty AC, no kitchen and poorly equipped, missing basics like a bottle opener and kitchen paper.

The first cleaning was thorough, but the second was incomplete (only fresh towels/no cleaning), and the bed blanket had an unpleasant smell. Staff interaction was less attentive than expected, especially considering the high ratings.

Leider war unser Aufenthalt im Eco HeavenSuites in Heraklion enttäuschend. Schon bei der Ankunft war das Zimmer sehr warm. Um genau zu sein 29 Grad. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht richtig, was bei über 30 Grad im Juli ein echtes Problem ist.

Wir haben mehrfach den Kontakt zu unterschiedlichen Mitarbeitenden gesucht. Ein Mitarbeiter hat sie wohl zurück gesetzt und sie auf 16 grad und höchste Ventilation gestellt. Da erwartet man das nach 20mim das Zimmer kühler wird. Wir haben dann noch eine weitere Stunde gewartet- (Check in 15 Uhr - bis 16 Reparatur bis 17 Uhr gewartet um 20 Uhr zurück gekommen ins Zimmer immer noch warm 28 Grad - gegen 23 Uhr nach Rückkehr vom Essen dann 27 grad - somit draußen kühler als im Zimmer. Auch nach 6-7 Stunden war das Zimmer kaum kühler und ein angenehmes Schlafen unmöglich. Und das an unserem letzten Urlaubstag - am folgetag mussten wir um 4:30 am Flughafen sein.

Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass das Problem bekannt war, aber keine echte Lösung angeboten wurde. Ein Zimmerwechsel war angeblich nicht möglich, und echte Abhilfe blieb aus. Das ist schade, denn die Unterkunft hat an sich Potenzial – Lage und Konzept sind gut, aber der Service war in unserem Fall...
