Ammoudara is a few kilometers long beach. You will find places without sunbeds and crowds of people which are more calm but there are also parts of the beach close to the hotels which are more busy. We were staying at a part of the beach closer to Heraklion centre where there was mostly nobody even in the main summer season in July.
