Nuovo Crete by Sea — Hotel in Municipality of Malevizi

We have booked a room at this hotel for a week. It was an incredible first time experience in Crete overall in Greece too. The hotel is located on outskirts of Heraklion, you can go there by taxi, which is like around 27-30€ for a 20 minutes long ride, or you can hop on a bus line 6, and get off 40-50 minutes later just only for 1,5€.

The room is perfectly equipped, with a tiny kitchen if you want to cook. The hotel is located a minute walk away from the sandy beach, and from some incredible restaurants and souvenir shops at the opposite way. You can book your room with breakfast included which is not served at the hotel, but at their sister hotel, which is right at the beach, and they serve really good food there. The staff is really lovely and they try their best to help with everything you need. Also they can help with booking a rental car too if you would like to drive around on the island.

Overall we were soo satisfied with our stay and soo sad that we have had to leave. Thank you soo much for making our vacation...

The new renovated hotel,very close to the beach, 2mins walking distance to Teatro beach hotel where they offer breakfast or drinks also till midnight. You can choose whatever from the menu like Greek yogurt with honey,scrambled eggs or sandwiches if you are very hungry. Ask for cappuccino or Americano, you will enjoy directly on the beach in the shade. The fruits bowl was only apple but expected more local fruits like water melone... The rooms are pretty new and location very quiet to sleep whole night. The shower is large divided by glass panel from sleeping zone. You can make your fresh espresso if you like. The reception is closed around 22pm, but never mind if you arrive late night,they will send you PIN codes to open the entrance door and you room easy. Nice place,about 15min by car from the Heraklion sea front. The best, easy parking is near Art...

Flying cockroaches in the room

At night we found 3 flying cockroaches in the toilet of the room 103. The cockroaches were coming inside the room from the main entrance of the hotel. Other customers also were trying to help us by chasing the cockroaches in the main entrance of the hotel. We called the hotel owner to change us the room, she told us there is no availability to any of the partners hotels, she just gave us the money of our stay. We had to find other place to stay on our own, no one from the hotel helped us to find another place to stay, it...
