This was a let down from the word go, we did not get what was advertised at all!!!! It was a complete rip off! We paid over $550 Australian dollars for 3 nights…..this was plain and simple robbery!|No toiletries were provided, (as advertised on their website) we had to buy our own toilet paper, ( there was only enough in the bathroom for one night) housekeeping never replaced it! Disgusting!!! There was no kitchenette as described at the time of booking, which is very misleading and deceptive…although there were plates, cutlery and drinkware in a cupboard that looked like they came from a thrift bin (stained and dirty looking!)|The bedroom walls had dead bugs plastered all over them, the bedding was never changed during our 3 night stay, and only one set of stairs towels were changed during the whole time (for one person, not 2!|….and when we arrived there was no one to greet us and guide us to our room, we had to ask locals to find the owner, even though we had filled out (obviously) our date and time of arrival!||DURING OUR WHOLE STAY THERE WAS NO ONE AROUND TO ADDRESS OUR COMPLAINTS AND ASSIST…..EVEN WHEN WE LEFT THERE WAS NOONE AROUND, NOR DID WE KNOW WHERE TO CONTACT THEM….YET THEY WERE QUICK TO CHARGE US THE HEFTY COST OF OUR STAY!||WE WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS PLACE AGAIN, NEVER RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE….THAT GOES WITHOUT SAYING……IF ANYTHING WE SHOULD GET SOME OF OUR MONEY BACK AS THIS WAS A CLEAR CASE OF DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING AND DEFINITELY NOT GETTING WHAT...
Read moreThe flat belonged to the grandmother of the current owner Mr Nektarios. Very kind and helpful in organising our stay in Kastellorizo. If you come by ferry from Rhodes you cross the bay and arrive at the flat on foot . You can see that it has been renovated, air conditioning and a nice bathroom are available. We even had a kitchen but I recommend the innumerable restaurants on the harbour. it is clear that you do not expect the standard of a Mariott or Sofitel...is a flat in the middle of the Aegean! In any case I will gladly return to this flat for my next stay in Kastellorizo. The family that runs it, apart from Mr Nektarios, is very kind and helpful. The very smiling son met us in the town and asked how the stay was going and if need further help. Highly recommended for your stay on this magical island (Thanks to all the members of...
