Stratos Café — Restaurant in Municipality of Meyisti

Unfortunately, in a similar way as most of the places in Kastelorizo, Stratos is on a maximum extraction mode.

Meaning, super low quality food with crazy high prices. The whole place, as most of Kastelorizo feels like a honey pot for tourists with locals trying to get as much as they can before the tourist season ends.

Stratos is no exception to the above. As a Greek I feel ashamed on the quality of services offered. If you are a tourist don’t fall for the “charming spot” near the harbor and don’t be afraid to call them out.

I've eaten here many times over this past summer and the coffee, smoothies, service and food is always pretty great. We love the many breakfast options and sandwiches for lunch. Always service with a smile! The location is perfect - in the heart of it all and right next to the water to catch the loggerhead sea turtles as they pop up for air. The salmon sandwich was a bit salty for some others in my party and the mini brioche sandwiches were surprisingly like the equivalent of two full big sandwiches (so not so mini), but having too much food is not really a...

Called here a number of times whilst staying in Kastellorizo. The dinner menu was fairly limited, but we did have a sharing board one evening which was lovely and really enjoyable.

The breakfasts/brunches were wonderful (the Addict Breakfast and yoghurts were superb) and such a great experience, sat right next to the water watching the turtles swim by!
