Mileo Mykonos — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

We travel a lot and have stayed in many luxury hotels around the world – but Milayou Hotel in Kalo Livadi is by far the best hotel we’ve ever experienced. This is a new, exclusive boutique hotel, designed to perfection, with every detail executed beautifully, elegantly, and thoughtfully. The hotel is spotlessly clean and sparkling, maintained to the highest standards, and everything about the experience feels luxurious, refined, and personal. The toiletries are exclusive, the towels are thick and high-quality, and all materials – from the shower products to the ingredients in the food – are carefully selected and of outstanding quality.

The pools are excellent, especially the heated pool with a jacuzzi – the perfect place to relax at the end of the day with breathtaking views. The service is exceptional – every member of the staff makes you feel like you’re the only guest in the hotel, with personal care, pampering, and constant warm smiles. When we arrived, we mentioned that our daughter was celebrating her 12th birthday – and we were amazed to find that the staff had already decorated her room beautifully on the first day, and then on her actual birthday they surprised her again with a cake, balloons, and more decorations – all complimentary. It was a truly touching and thoughtful gesture that showed just how much attention they pay to every small detail.

The chef prepared a special pasta dish just for us, and the reception staff packed an early breakfast for our departure. We would like to sincerely thank the amazing team: Katerina, Simone, Galini, Theodosis, Manos, and Pavlos – each of you made this vacation unforgettable.

The hotel is perched above the beautiful Kalo Livadi beach, with stunning views, and offers a shuttle to the beach until 6 PM – though it’s also an easy walk. Although there are restaurants nearby, the food at the hotel was so delicious that we had no desire to eat anywhere else.

I genuinely do not have a singular fault to find with my stay here. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and whilst I could write in depth about the quality of the room and facilities. My main take away is the super service my boyfriend and I received from every singular member of staff we had the pleasure of interacting with at the hotel. For me customer service is paramount to any stay and underpins everything. I have been fortunate enough to enjoy times in multiple 5 star establishments around the world. However none of the positive customer service I have received in the past comes close to sheer excellence at Mi Leo hotel! I am blown away. Firstly it is clear each member of the team is an intrinsically kind and decent person. Beyond that though everyone working at the hotel is so efficient, informative and will go out their way to assist you and do everything they can to ensure you have a positive experience whilst at the hotel. Many times the team would be ten steps ahead anticipating, anything my boyfriend and I may need or want during our stay. In addition to this we are guilty of not wanting to explore Mykonos as much as we anticipated we would prior to our holiday as the food we enjoyed from the menu was so delicious. The staff at the hotel truly are the magic behind the hotel and help ensure it stands out amoungst the other luxury hotels in the area. Mileo is a beautiful 5* hotel. We stayed in a room with a shared pool at the end of the season, when the hotel was not fully occupied. The interior is luxurious, very stylish, and modern. The hotel offers extensive facilities – fitness, sauna, and indoor pool – as well as a wide range of activities from massages to boat trips. The staff are happy to assist with reservations for cars, scooters, and more. A big highlight for us was the availability and helpfulness of the staff and reception, who were always ready to support us with anything we needed. At check-in, you fill in a short form with your preferences, and the hotel makes sure to accommodate them during your stay, which we found very thoughtful.

During our 8-night stay we didn’t experience any major negatives. The only minor points we noticed were the cold water in the shared pool (not heated) and the limited variety of the breakfast buffet. While the food was good and supported by an à la carte menu, the buffet itself stayed exactly the same throughout our stay. For a 5* property we expected a bit more variety, but we understand it may have been due to the very end of the season.
