The worst experience of my life.||We booked 7 nights 17-24th July ||We had a drunk young last screaming and trying to enter our room 6am on our first night ||On the second night the hotel was throwing a party for a guest and the music was blasting into my room so loud it was unbearably. I wanted to watch the sunset and chill after a full day at Lohans beach club. Our room was next to the bar with a joining wall, it was extremely loud techno with guests screaming and yelling which made me feel very uncomfortable and unable to use my room. We booked this trip to relax and enjoy Mykonos so this was really not the place for us! Both business owners from UK but living in UAE for 7 years. ||I had been up early at 5am to walk and go to gym so wanted to rest but the music was unbearable so I went to the front desk to complain.||I was quite distressed and the two staff were not taking anything I said seriously, one kept repeating this is not a party hotel which was not true at all! I said this place is not for me and my fiancé, I was also told I should have booked a villa of if I wanted privacy. I was asking for the email to send a complain and ask if we could leave early.||I was unable to use my room and was rather frustrated, we paid 2900 euro for the 7 nights and felt very disappointed. To make matters worse one of the two receptionist accused me of recording the conversation which is categorically not true. She started yelling at me and said she was calling the police and proceeded to do so, I was actually terrified as this was not true but being in a foreign country I was scared out of my mind. There was a CCT camera pointing at me the full time so it could be easily checked I did not record anything.||The next morning I went to see the receptionist and explained I felt very uncomfortable and wanted to ask if we could check out early and was it possible to have a refund for the 5 remaining nights. We had stayed 2 nights already and really wanted to go but not loose our money. The receptionist told me she spoken to the manager/owner and they agreed to return the 5 nights payment and we could go and be out before 12pm but I should call booking.com as they had the payment not them. When I called booking.com they informed me that the hotel had marked my booking as a no show and so for that reason I would have no refund! I explained that I was in the hotel and had been for 2 days and they are still trying to help me. ||||The staff would not help me and not cooperate with booking.com to tell the truth. I expect my refund for the 5 nights to be issues as agreed by the receptionist at the hotel today. I have been traveling the world my whole life staying in 5 star hotels and have never experienced anything like this. I was absolutely traumatized today after this and can’t comprehend how badly we have been treated. ||||I was told by the hotel that I could have a refund then found out they pretended I was never there! Absolutely disgraceful behavior and I would be very happy if this could be resolved professionally and amicably please, this was not the type of place for us and after the awful experience we expect the refund as agreed this morning. ||Kind...
Read moreMy wife and I chose to stay at million stars for our honeymoon. When we first arrived it seemed nice enough. We got a room with a private pool and jacuzzi. When I tried to heat up the jacuzzi, it was cold hours later. Then when we wanted to relax with a hot shower, there was no hot water! To top it off, there were red ants in the room! Some in the bed that bit my wife. This was just unacceptable when I paid $3500 to be here for a few days. At this point it was 10 at night and the receptionist told us that she would cancel our reservation and we could go somewhere else. When we got to the new place, it was absolutely stunning and perfect. But when we went to pull out my wife’s medicine pill box, it had TONS of red ants feasting on her supplements. Million Stars said they would give me a full refund when I checked out there, but it’s been a week since then and Expedia said they have been unable to contact them, and I have been unable to contact them. So it is looking like I have lost my $3500. Upon calling million stars, the person who answered the phone is saying that I’m lying about all these things and says that they never told me they would give me a refund. They are liars and cheaters….do NOT stay here. I am now out $3500 and they wouldn’t listen to me, she kept cutting me off and saying that I am lying about the room. I never even intended to cancel the room, I just wanted the shower water to be fixed and the ants to be cleaned up. They were the ones to say that they would cancel the reservation and give me a refund. It was 10 at night and I was exhausted after a long day of travel. Read moreI have no clue, none - how this hotel has received positive reviews. The fact that there are only 19 though, is a good indicator that they are either paid for or employees.
We stayed here on 10/12 and upon checking in it seemed fine. However, we had no hot water in either of our bathrooms & were told a tech would come out to assess yet he never showed. We also had a literal infestation of red ants in our room that go into our bags and were surrounding my seizure medications and bit me. It was not at all as advertised.
We then were told by both women there that night that we would receive a full refund within 3 business days. We then had to book another hotel and they again ASSURED us that we would get a refund to compensate for this loss. We have yet to receive a refund, ignored my husbands calls and so had to call from my phone and were avoiding calls from Expedia. They then said that we were “liars” and our experience was quote “Not real”. They refused the refund and said the entire conversation never happened. Feel like we are in the actual twilight zone. So disrespectful, talked over us the whole time until the point where neither could hear the other talking. I think it’s safe to say they swindled us out of a $3500 reservation, in addition they had us pay for the meal they brought to us which was another $100 and then have the nerve not to honor their agreement to refund us.
