So happy to get a full vegan meal in Mykonos. They opened with an amuse bouche that definitely awakened the palette. I tried the deconstructed spinach pie as the appetizer. It was delicious, and a little saltier than expected so it would have been nice to have something to counter that. The portion was good for one person. I then had the sinless memory as entree and wow! The seitan was marinated and cooked in such a way that it tasted and felt like beef. It was an amazing experience. The accompanying sauce was terrific with its smokey sweet taste. I love cassava so I would have liked one or two more servings of that to accompany the meal. The portion was enough for me but for others it might be small. Finally, the amazing lava cake. For chocolate lovers, this beckons you. It’s a shareable portion, however it’s not overly sweet so one person can really take it on. It was a perfect close to a meal. The service was not impressive. After we were provided our menus, we waited about 10-15 min before a server came back to take our order. I should note there were two couples dining in the restaurant as well, 2 waiters, 1 busser and two bartenders. The waiter only came to our table when our food was ready to serve, not to ask for any refills on drinks or water. We had to delay our taxi back into town because the service was so slow. Even to get the check, we wondered if we’d have to wait 10 min. Everyone was very polite, proper and helpful when it came to the menu, and recommendation. I just wish the service staff was more aware of their surroundings. Overall, the taste of the food was magnificent, service was lacking, and portions are small to moderate so you guests can really enjoy several items on the menu. Their food was so delicious that I went back to the restaurants three days in a row and if I was staying longer in Mykonos, I would return even more to try everything that I didn’t get a chance to. You can feel the quality, thought, and passion that goes into every dish that they present. The flavor profiles are super unique and stunningly delicious! And what tops it off is the staffs friendliness and hospitality. Our servers, Yannis and Eliana, were so friendly and attentive and went out of their way to ensure our comfort and enjoyment of the meal. We even went back for their lunch menu which was just as delicious as the dinner menu 😍😍 And what makes it even better is that the food is soo satiating and yet not heavy. We stuffed ourselves so much at each meal but I still had the energy to walk around and do activities afterwards.
