Pantheon Bar - Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Mykonos

I don’t have 0 star option to give else I would have given that. We as a couple went there as it was the closest one to our hotel and we were super hungry and here is my experience- 1- ONLINE MENU is 2 years old As soon as we arrived, the menu was completely different than the online one. They have a variety of dishes on the menu online what tempted us towards their restaurant but in the restaurant they just have one which has very limited options. Considering the fact we were super hungry, we chose to eat there.

2 - SLOW and PATHETIC Service- We ordered food, after 45 minutes we asked the waiter for the food and he asked what you ordered? Pizza? while we didn’t order that. I assume the order was not even placed to prepare food after 45 min of our order. Then he went to the kitchen and came back with an excuse that we prepare all order together (for all customers in the restaurant) & it will take 15 minutes more. Alright we waited 25 mins more and after waiting for more than an hour, we asked again if it will come or we can also cancel and after 15 more minutes finally they came with the food after 1.5h As soon as we started eating, we realised the food is cold and on request they changed the fries but the rest of the food we ate like that. I ordered burger which was really dry.

3- RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF During the payment, he tried to allure us with some additional stuff because my husband already rated him on google but we denied to take any extra stuff as bribe . After meal and after that rating he suddenly started arguing us. When we told him, you took too much time, still the food was not even warm. He answered us “BUT YOU ATE IT” then how it was cold? We left half of our food on the table and what they expect ? First customer should wait for more than an hour for food and it should be left on the table...

Having read all the good reviews about Pantheon Bar, we visited for lunch as a party of 7. Although the restaurant wasn’t at all busy, the service was slow and we had to continually try to catch the waitress’s eye to get her attention. The starters were tasty, but the main course orders of calamari and chicken skewers were both very dry, barely warm, and tough as old boots. They also arrived 20 minutes apart. (The fresh sea bass were very nice.) We pointed all this out to our waitress and then another waiter, neither of whom showed much interest or empathy. Such a shame as the setting and view...

Hands down best bites during our four day trip here in Mykonos. The ocean front location was out of this world, the food was high quality, beautiful presented, and so incredibly delicious. Chef was so friendly, she came out and shared some beautiful stories with us. Too bad we are leaving tomorrow or else we will definitely be back for more.
