Evdokia Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

These are very modern units, with marble used throughout. Units have a high security key with deadbolt. A wonderful beach is just across the street, and there’s a bus stop close by, with good service into the town, as well as several good restaurants within easy walking distance– we weren’t able to try all of them despite a ten day stay. The unit was very quiet, with a comfortable bed. Lots of storage for clothes. Bathroom was well designed, with lots of hot water, and rain shower/hand held spray. Air conditioning is by multiple unducted units, which worked quietly and efficiently. Lighting, particularly in the kitchen/living area, was excellent for reading at night. The WiFi worked well for our modest purposes. We appreciated the big screen TV with Netflix, Amazon and other streaming available. One particular issue I have is with doors that squeak and sink basins that don’t hold water; Evdokia passed the test with flying colours, a sign of good maintenance. The kitchen was reasonably equipped, with induction stove and an oven; particularly appreciated the Miele dishwasher. Managing the operation is Anna, who takes wonderful care of her patrons; it was great that she provided transportation to and from the ferry terminal – a money saver, for sure. At the pool, Demitrious makes sure everyone is made welcome. On top of that, the cleaning staff was friendly and efficient. Finally, the breakfast served by the pool was quite complete and nicely done. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else on Naxos!|||We would have liked some shade on the front balcony (overlooking the Aegean Sea) in the afternoon, but to be fair, there were two other balconies, so we could have sat outside as long as we didn’t need the view. Also, note that there are no blackout curtains; sensitive people should bring a sleeping mask – again, to be fair, this doesn’t seem to be a Greek...

Booked a deluxe 2 bed apartment with hot tub ! What did we get a poor one bed studio . no private balcony poorly equipped kitchen - no microwave or kettle ( although brought later after asking! ) no knives chopping board nothing. Broken mosquitoe net - not repaired even though pointed out. Great view of the sea though plus air conditioning worked. Breakfast was to say the least average all pre cooked so was cold or Luke warm - fried eggs cold not for me ! Why pre cook omelettes and and fried eggs and gave staff just watching ? Children helping themselves to food and handling the bread again not a nice experience to be honest . Staff excellent I have to say polite and quick to help . Changed rooms 3 times until we finally got the 2 bedroomed apartment we actually booked that had been let out as an upgrade to some Californians and another family which we were told was a 3 bed house ??? Not at all happy after paying so much for this hotel and booking.com never responded to my emails or calls to help . 3 stars are fir the staff nothing else really . Although second room was good but not what we booked please note this in reading my review. It’s simply not acceptable to put deluxe 2 bedroomed apartment and not give it . The owner actually stated they didn’t have a 2 bed apartment but what were we in for the last 2 nights ??? A 2 bed apartment!!! Really poor customer...

This is the place to feel like home!! |The hotel sits at the plaka beach directly, one of the best beaches in Naxos after Agios Prokopios which is also 7min away. You can easily open your bungalow door and soak your feet in the clear blue water.||The area has sandy roads, lots of romantic restaurants, drinks bars and authentic food tavernas. You get to feel the raw vibes of the island and the location is just a 15min drive from the Naxos port area vibe. If I were to revisit we would definitely choose this place and area since it is beach focused and you can roam around during the sunset and evening to the other side. Nevertheless, this area has it all if you are looking for a zen stay and it accommodates both family and couples' experience.||On a genuine note, Anna the owner of the hotel is super welcoming, friendly, accommodates requests within seconds and is a great host.
