Summer Breeze — Restaurant in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

Hi ALL potential travellers to Naxos, Greece!!! :) My wife Kate and I have just had the most wonderful 5 days staying at the "Glaronissi Beach Apartments", on the beautiful island of Naxos. These apartments were absolutely beautiful, (but you can read about that on our other review.) :) Right next door, there is a wonderful restaurant, run by a passionate family, the "Summer Breeze Greek Restaurant". The owner Giannis, and his warm and friendly family greeted us with love, and the most amazing traditional Greek cuisine. These guys are very proud and passionate about what they serve to their customers and will go the extra mile in providing you with the best possible service. You can even get food and drinks brought down to the beach, which is less then 25 metres away!! We were all quite emotional at the end of our trip when we had to say our"goodbyes", and my wife and I are still talking about this recent experience, as the most relaxing and wonderful holiday that we have ever had, (and we have had many over the years). :) We dined there every lunch time, indulged in late afternoon drinks there, and then ate dinner there 3 out of the 5 nights - there are many places to eat along this beach strip, but this was easily the best option by far. Don't hesitate to dine here guys, when considering restaurants along the Plaka beach strip! We miss you already Giannis, Mixaela and Dionysus (their son). Summer Breeze was one of the absolute highlights of our stay on Naxos! Beautifully located right by the sea, with a relaxing atmosphere and stunning views, it’s the perfect place to enjoy authentic Greek hospitality.

The food is simply outstanding – traditional Greek home cooking at its best. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The tzatziki was truly exceptional – creamy, perfectly seasoned, and served with warm, crusty bread. It was so good, we ordered it more than once! The other classic dishes we tried were equally delicious and comforting, just like a home-cooked meal.

The service is warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. You never feel rushed – instead, you’re treated like a valued guest. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease.

If you're looking for honest, delicious Greek food in a breathtaking setting, Summer Breeze is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back – and we’ll be dreaming of...

A nice family run business. There are 14 sets of sun beds at the cost of €35 for a set. Very comfortable sun beds. It was perfect for us. We then had lunch at their restaurant with lovely views of the beach. Had a lovely meal. I had the grilled calamari, which I highly recommend. The service from the owners son, Dionysus, was genuinely warm and friendly. Such a lovely fellow. A credit to the restaurant. We throughly enjoyed our day there. Went back again and this time had the grilled fish. Done perfectly. A nice touch was the grilled zucchini, eggplant and potatoes drizzled with balsamic vinegar served with the grilled seafood.
