MNP Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

Over the past seven years we have been fortunate to have stayed in many wonderful places in Greece. We can honestly say that our time spent at MNP Apartments, exceeded all of our hopes and expectations. This was our sixth visit to Naxos since 2019, so we believed we knew pretty much all there was to know about the island...until we discovered MNP Apartments, located in the authentic, peaceful village of Eggares, approx. 8km/13min drive from Naxos town. On arrival we were greeted by Maria, who showed us around our apartment, which was exactly as portrayed as in the photos. The recently constructed, luxuriously appointed apartments have been thoughtfully designed and built with quality materials to a very high standard. The apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen - including a full size oven and hob - stylish shower room - with a great shower - and a very comfortable living space and bedroom area. We were immediately surprised and impressed with the generously stocked fridge, including wine, milk, eggs, bread and many other items, which, if you are arriving late at night, is such a bonus. Everywhere has been tastefully and professionally decorated. The highlights of the property for us were the sumptuous shower and the modern, fully equipped kitchen. One of the very first things we observe, is how clean an apartment is... a 10/10 score is not common, but it is unquestionably deserved here and the high level of cleanliness was maintained throughout our stay, including a change of towels and bed linen every few days. From the very first day to our last, we felt completely relaxed, to the extent that after just a few days of our two weeks stay, we were planning our next visit. However, what made our stay so memorable, was the exceptional hospitality of both Maria and Nikos. They were welcoming, exceedingly generous, friendly and always responsive to our needs. They made what would have been a really pleasant stay... absolutely perfect. Finally.. If you're driving directly from Naxos town area, back to Eggares, be sure to take the coast road (as shown in Google maps) after about 10mins/6km, as the road begins to level out after a winding ascent, you will see a genuinely stunning vista on your left...looking down onto a fertile plain and the villages of Galini and Eggares, with the mountains behind providing a dramatic backdrop. Unforgettable. We have no hesitation in recommending MNP Apartments, if you're seeking a peaceful, tranquil location from which to explore the rest of the beautiful...

We have visited MNP Apartments numerous times over the past few years...there are many reasons for this, but there are two that never fail to move us. Approximately 500m from the hillside goat farm on your left - and as you reach the highest point of the coastal drive from Naxos town, (just beyond the sign for Amitis beach)... at that moment, the dramatic vista of the valley, sea and the villages of Eggares and Gallini below, dominated by the mountains soaring above... burst into view. That scene never fails to move us. As wonderful and as exciting the above experience is, the standout reason we return time and time again, is the unrivalled kindness of Nikos and Maria - referred to many times in so many reviews. In our experience, together, they are the epitome of authentic Greek friendliness and hospitality. Always cheerful, always smiling, always responsive to any request. They truly are the perfect hosts. Everyone will have their own special Greek island but if you're thinking about visiting Naxos for the first time, don't hesitate, check out MNP Apartments in Egarres...with a rental car, it's the perfect location to discover Naxos, in our opinion a Greek island that really has something to...

Once again, we have been fortunate to spend another few weeks in Naxos staying at MNP apartments. We just love the peacefulness and authenticity of the village, made extra special whilst we enjoy our time relaxing in the apartment, which is beautifully appointed and kept spotlessly clean. Nikos and Maria were, as always, very friendly and hospitable, making our stay all the more enjoyable. Highly recommended and we look forward to our next visit...
