The husband and I stayed here for one night on our way to Halkidiki just over a week ago. They arranged an airport transfer for us and also allowed a late check in. Sophia at reception was lovely, super helpful! The bed was really comfortable but the pillows were quite flat (and you only get one each). There was a bit of a “kitchenette” type area which included a microwave and small fridge. Along with a strange array of mismatched glasses/dishes and cooking utensils. The minibar options were appreciated on our late arrival and we each had a small bottle of wine at €5 per bottle. The room was really clean, with more than enough space for a one night stopover. We had a decent-sized terrace which was just over the entrance of the hotel, facing the hills. Just something to note, the curtains aren’t black-out and the room was a bit on the bright side in the morning. The breakfast is charged at €7 each but I’d recommend finding it elsewhere (it’s only a 5-10 min walk downhill into the town centre). It was very basic with the usual cheese, bread, and olives but with cheap pressed meats. Juice was just an orange-flavoured watered down liquid. But at least the coffee was nice and strong! After breakfast we had a wander to the roof terrace which had stunning views of the sea and what we learned was Mount Olympus - very unexpected! We requested a late check out of 1pm (which they were super chilled about), which meant we had time to take a walk into town and along the water front before moving on to our next stay near Nikiti. ||All in all a pleasant and affordable stay. Not sure if I’d want to stay longer than a night or two but it suited us fine for a night. Special thanks again to Sophia who was just so nice, I’d come back again just...
Read moreHighly not recommended! We spent five nights at the accommodation with two adults and two children. Unfortunately, it was a complete mistake to book here. Based on price/value, it is not worth it at all. There are much better accommodations in the area at a lower or similar price. Miscommunication; what we discussed on the phone was denied in person. The room was advertised on Booking.com as having 1 double and 2 single beds. The owner confirmed this on the phone. However, there were 2 double beds in the room. Breakfast was included in the price (also on Booking.com). I booked the room with this in mind. Upon check-in, it turned out that breakfast cost an additional €10 per person. After a long discussion, they graciously agreed to reduce the price by EUR 2. :D There is no shade on the terrace. It is unusable until the evening hours. You have no chance of enjoying your morning coffee on the terrace because you will get burned. The Jacuzzi was disgustingly dirty. Probably harmful to your health! For three days, they promised to clean it and change the water the next day, but this never happened. It was unusable for the entire duration of our stay. Obviously, they didn't even think of charging us the difference (between a room with and without a Jacuzzi) when we checked out. This is just a lack of professionalism, but it's important to mention. When the outside temperature is above 40°C and you are waiting a family in the afternoon (you know when they will arrive after a 12-hour journey), you turn on the air conditioning an hour before their arrival so that you can welcome your guests to a pleasantly cool room, not a 32°C "sauna". NOT...
