Irene Apartments - Acharavi — Hotel in Municipality of Northern Corfu

We stayed at Irene Apartments for just under a week. Irene is very friendly, generous and attentive.

We arrived and were given a free glass of lemonade made fresh from her lemon trees. She also offered to drive us to take our PCR covid test when we couldn't find a taxi. Our apartment was clean and tidy with an incredible view. The pool was very clean and tidy too.

The hotel itself is located up a fairly steep hill. Some may want to hire mopeds or get taxis to avoid the climb but it was fine to walk up and down for us. Incredible sunset views when walking down it for dinner in the evening.

The beach is a 10-15 minute walk away and there are plenty of shops and restaurants very nearby.

Stayed here in July to celebrate a big birthday and wedding anniversary and can't find a single fault. Irene and her family work tirelessly to make sure you have a great time. All are so pleasant. Pool spotless(which is really important and can be a rare find but this one was great) Grounds beautiful. Rooms are cleaned very regularly and to a high standard (again super important). Nothing was too much trouble and Irene was brilliant with any questions etc and a very genuine lady. Thanks so much Irene and family for a fantastic stay and we will definitely be back again.

Just a small side note, there is a bit of a steep hill up to...

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und haben ein sehr sauberes Apartment vorgefunden mit einem einmaligen Blick über den Garten/Pool und das im Tal gelegene Dorf bis hin zum Meer. Herrlich. Die ganze Anlage ist in einem sehr gepflegtem Zustand. Das Apartment ist spartanisch ausgestattet, sehr sauber, aber in die Jahre gekommen. Mit ein paar Kleinigkeiten, hätte das Apartment vllt sogar etwas Charme ;-) ... Rosa Plastiklampenschirm zu gelb-grün karierten Vorhängen.... die Küche bietet zb nur eine Pfanne und einen großen Kochtopf. Wenn an Selbstverpfleger vermietet wird, wäre zb ein kleiner Kochtopf mehr (Spaghetti + Soße usw) wünschenswert. Ebenso gibt es nicht mal ein Geschirrhandtuch, welches (sowieso) von Nöten ist, da alles nur in zweifacher Ausführung vorhanden ist. 2x Gabel, Messer,Teller.... Kleine Schälchen für Müsli o.ä. wären auch toll. Aber, alles in allem, hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt und Irene ist eine sehr hilfreiche und freundliche Gastgeberin, die ein SAUBERES & GEPFLEGTES...
