Mr & Mrs White Corfu — Hotel in Municipality of Northern Corfu

We were here in July 2021 and had a wonderful time. At the beginning before our trip I was a bit worried because I sent the hotel two messages in advance, none of which were answered, it turned out afterwards that there was a problem with the technology on site. We have then contacted again by phone to organize an airport transfer with the hotel, as this was not included in our offer. The transfer cost about 65€ each way and you need about an hour from the airport (you have to pay the driver in cash). The hotel itself is super quiet and you are very private. We especially liked the pleasant atmosphere, it smells good everywhere there is relaxing music and the staff, especially the hotel manager is super friendly. She welcomed us warmly and stood by us with all inquiries and problems (for example, where we can make a Corona test for the return flight). The hotel is very clean and everything is kept in white (except for our bathroom.) We had as a room the Jacuzzi Suite which is super spacious and modern. Only the closet and the bathroom are probably remnants of the time before the last renovation and could be renewed but it didn´t bothered us too much. What was annoying is that the shower head never stayed in its outdated holder and you had to hold it while showering, also the shower sliding door jammed and the handle was loose so that it once fell off in part. The air conditioning is pleasant and quiet and does not blow excessively, the first time that I had no cold or sore throat despite AC :D The Jacuzzi on the terrace is also very nice and was clean, we have unfortunately used it too rarely.

The hotel has a small but nice breakfast with everything you need and you can sit pleasantly outside. Even as a vegan it was possible to have a normal breakfast (there was cereal with almond milk, a fruit basket, roasted vegetables, bread and jam). Of course, there was more choice for those with a mixed diet. You can also order from 2pm small snacks such as club sandwiches or burgers and fries, which are also delicious but expensive in relation to the dining opportunities outside the hotel. The cocktails are also recommendable (our favorite was the premium cocktail that tastes like Solero ice cream), but unfortunately the bar is only open until 9pm.

All in all, it was a really nice stay for us that went by way too fast. We will certainly return again after Corona times, then there should be more music and pool parties in the hotel according to the...

WARNING, this hotel is not as advertised on its website and by Tui…. It may have been nice in the past but its well past its time and has had no money spent of it with the owners and Tui turning a blind eye and then unwilling to help. ||When we booked we didn’t expect a top class hotel but this is not even a 1 star hotel…. From the moment we arrived the bar had limited drinks and did not restock, no ice with one guest going and buying ice for the hotel to use, the rooms and facilities are old and worn with externally poor cleanliness levels across the whole site. The loungers old and stained behind anything that I would dare sit on. ||Breakfast… again we didn’t expect much but the levels of quality and hygiene standards was not something that I was going to eat in fear that I would be ill for the entire holiday, so instead left the hotel with my family early eat out (which is a cost we didn’t expect to pay) and stayed away from the hotel as long so possible as it was so upsetting. We came together as family for the first time in 14 yrs and it turned into a holiday hell…. ||The pool has been out of order since my second day and currently looks like treacle and no one allowed to enter, the hotel keep saying it will be sorted but were now on day five of no pool tomorrow.||Everyone at the hotel was experiencing the same issues and extremely unhappy, if you have a holiday coming soon I would be trying to change it FAST… ||The rooms are in poor repair, my door didn’t lock and took four days to repair, towels with stains on, and was no pool towels on day one which was blamed on supplier. All there of rooms front doors look like they have been prised open and robbed which is worrying sign. ||Do not expect the food that is advertised on the hotel website, what you will get is a tuna wrap that is mainly Mayo which my 12 year child could have made way better and safer to eat. ||As I said we didn’t expect something that was amazing so I’m not one of those you is just moaning, please take my advise and stay away…. ||If I could have posted more than 10 photos I would have just to show how poor this hotel really is currently. ||Shame on you TUI and owners for ripping off guest who have paid a lot of money and is not...

Huge disappointment!!! Dirty and old. We booked the wedding suite for our last holidays blinded from the nice pictures and mainly good reviews here, but we're totally disappointed upon arrival. Starting from the outside: the "garden view" is mainly a bush not able to hide the hotel buildings also with direct view to the street which leads to the parking lot. The real garden with pool and beds is in another direction. The jacuzzi - one of the main reasons we booked the suite, does not offer privacy as the balconies from the hotel building offering a perfect observation deck. Upon entering the room, you notice that even the complete room is totally visible to the other balconies - closing the curtains always necessary if you don't want to show everything. Also the rooms does not smell nice - very old and a little bit mouldy. The "lounge area" in the room does only offer some spotted sitting pillows but no pillows for the back or any comfort. The "mini bar" is an old refrigerator that just sits at the wall. The bathroom is very small, sitting on the toilet you can easily reach the sink. Some of the interior already was broken and not exchanged (on the wall in the bathroom) and even the door did not work properly as the door knot is completely loose… But the biggest problem is the cleanliness, it is dirty - every place your looking you can see some spots which weren't cleaned properly - especially the floor is dirty as we found old hair and dirt. even after being promised an additional cleaning, upon asking at the reception, the cleanliness wasn't getting better. It rather seemed like there wasn’t done anything. This is nothing anyone would expect from a 4 star or luxury hotel, especially regarding the price as a stay here is highly expensive compared to what you get. Definitely not recommended!!
