I have been visiting Corfu for 23 years and today had my most favourite meal in Corfu in all those years. The food was better than the tourist trap type establishments as the food here was real, in house prepared traditional Corfoit fayre. My wife and I were enticed in by the meat being cooked on a spit, and it did not dissapoint. We opted for the slow cooked rolled belly pork, it was delicious, especially the crispy bits. Home made pittas home made dips, plenty of Greek and Corfoit beers on tap. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the venue is great. Visited twice (so far) on our trip and both times were absolutely delicious.

The first time had chicken kontosouvli at the recommendation of the waiter as something different to souvlaki - essentially a slow roasted lemon herb chicken on the spit, with a mix of light and dark meat, that’s crispy on the outside.

But today was one of the best meals I’ve had in honestly a LONG time… slow roasted pork belly. It melted in my mouth, juicy and crispy, and for something I wouldn’t normally order, I was blown away. 10/10!

Give the restaurant a try - staff are friendly and helpful with recommendations, atmosphere is classic, and the price to value is fantastic.

Another gem we found on Corfu island, recommended to us by our local host and it was trully worth it. Amazing food, great prices, fast and friendly service. Pyta bread - excellent! Gyro pyta pork and chicken - amazingly tasty. Salads - fresh and you can savor the real taste of vegetables grown out in the sun. French fries were delicious - definitely homemade.
