Ilias Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Platanias

We had a wonderful two-week stay at Ilias Apartments! Our host Jenny was super kind and helpful, always ready to answer questions and provide tips. The beach is only a few steps away and plentiful restaurants in walking disctance. We especially enjoyed spending time on the big roof terrace with the large gazebo bed which was part of our apartment. As it is quite sheltered it was a great place to be on windy days. We also enjoyed that the big bedroom balcony windows face out the sea which meant we could wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the waves every day. Also we would like to highlight the apartment was cleaned everyday and bedheets/towels were changed regularly which is really a fantatsic service given that it is a self-catering apartment. Hyggelig og lite leilighetskompleks i 2 etasjer uten heis. Vår leilighet hadde stor takterrasse med koselig sittegruppe som kom godt med når nordavinden tok tak. Utstyrt med gode senger med mulighet for ekstra overmadrass. Utstyr for 2 til 3 personer med både vannkoker og en liten kaffetrakter med evighetsfilter. Renholdet er bra og vi får nye håndklær 6 dgr i uka. Mulighet for håndvask av klær og eget tørkestativ. Ingen vaskemaskin eller brødrister. En enkel kokeplate og lite og utrangert stekepanne og kasseroller for den som vil lage litt egen mat. Litt ymse med stikkontakter- ta med egen skjøteledning/ekstra kontakter. Wi-Fi fungerer ganske bra det meste av tiden (viktig pga dårlig mobildekning i Platanias). Vertskapet er serviceminded og gjør det lille ekstra som gjør at en føler seg velkommen. Kort vei opp til hovedgata med butikker og restauranter av alle slag. 10 m fra en herlig sandstrand med gode solsenger som kan leies for 6Euro for 2 senger med parasoll med bord. Ingen luksus, men et godt valg for vår del.

"Pleasant and small apartment complex with 2 floors and no elevator. Our apartment had a large roof terrace with a cozy seating area, which was very useful when the north wind picked up. Equipped with good beds and the possibility of an extra mattress. Equipment for 2 to 3 people with both a kettle and a small coffee maker with a permanent filter. The cleaning is good, and we receive new towels 6 days a week. Possibility for hand washing clothes and a separate drying rack. No washing machine or toaster. A simple hotplate and small, outdated frying pan and saucepans for those who want to cook a little themselves. A bit varied with electrical outlets - bring your own extension cord/extra sockets. The Wi-Fi works quite well most of the time (important due to poor mobile coverage in Platanias). The hosts are service-minded and do that little extra that makes you feel welcome. Short distance up to the main street with shops and restaurants of all kinds. 10 meters from a lovely sandy beach with good sun loungers that can be rented for 6 Euros for 2 beds with a parasol and a table. Very satisfied by our stay in Ilias apartments! Highly recommended! Our apartment was modern, beautifully decorated, comfy and very quiet. We had a beautiful huge terrace with couch and umbrella with a little view at the sea. You could tell they have taken care of every single detail here. There was also an umbrella and chairs for you to use at the beach. Also try Nisos restaurant next door! Both the apartments and Nisos belong to the same very kind and caring people. Do not hesitate...
