Cool_cafe — Restaurant in Municipality of Platanias

We got some coffee and sandwiches. I was really looking forward due to the good reviews but I was so disappointed. The coffee was too bitter and mostly ice, the sandwiches were dry with very little filling and mostly high processed ingredients. I had 2 very thin slices of tomato, one leaf of salad, some very processed meat and a very thin slice of plasticy cheese. The bread itself was tasty though. I couldn't eat the sandwich, I just bought some tomatoes and olive spread from the shop and make it eatable.

The staff was very rude and unprofessional. I was waiting at the counter for a while and they were just running around in a rush. No 'hello' or 'just give me a moment please, I'll be with you soon'. They just said 'one second' when I tried to order (after waiting for a while).

They were also impolite talking about the cold sore I had in Greek I'm front of me. I didn't feel comfortable, the food was not worthy and I'm not going...

What a great little find! Closest thing to an English breakfast on the main Plantanias strip and hits the spot when you get a craving for a cooked breakfast!

Sausages are super herby and full of flavour, bacon was beautiful and not streaky. Some fresh tomatoes and cucumber which is a nice refreshing addition to the plate. Plus you get a small sweet - Some bread with honey and jam.

I had been here the day before for brunch and had a gorgeous Turkey and Cheese Panini. Staff are super kind and friendly really relaxing atmosphere especially in the morning

The best thing about this place is the price! You get alot for your money...

Stopped by for a coffee ☕ yes even in Crete's High temperature coffee is important 😂

The service was great! We were given a bottle of iced water as soon as we sat down before we'd even ordered, which is a great gesture in the warm weather.

Coffee was served shortly after we ordered it and was very very good. For us a good coffee is important and this was one of the few places that got it right in the area. We were also given some complimentary pieces of cake with the drinks, which were also very good 👍
